No. Plenty of people think Kobe is better and as of now he has had a better career. That's a fact.

Uhhh, nope that ship sailed my friend a LONG time ago. Let the hate go, you'll feel better 8-)

Well, you're right about that. Kobe was demanding to be traded AND dissing a teammate on camera. Kyrie and LeBron combined.

Wut.

This video was released in the summer of 2007, while Kobe was publicly begging the Lakers to trade him - just like Kyrie is now doing to the Cavs.

On the video, Kobe is dissing one of his teammates on camera - just like LeBron did to Kyrie.

I don't see what's so hard to understand.

This was also following a season where another year of Kobe's prime was wasted (Lebron never had this problem because he constantly leaves teams).

 The first seven years of LeBron's career were wasted because the team that drafted him refused to put a real team around him. Kobe never had that problem because he colluded to force his way to the Lakers on draft day and play with Shaq.

Lebron leaked Kyrie's trade request one month after it happens AND THEN posts a beta diss video on Instagram.

:nonono:

Just because Stephen A. says it doesn't mean it's true.

Isn't Stephen A supposedly connected with the Lebron? And as others have noted, it makes sense that it'd be Lebron to leak this over Kyrie himself, cause on the surface Kyrie now looks like the bad guy.

Kobe is a stud that had the game of MJ...He culd drive at will when he was younger, he had the mid range game and his 3 ball developed as his career went on....once he slowed down some he became a very good post player....he is a true great scorer that played defense and won championships...LB is a get to the rim guy or shoot a 3...he has no intermediate game and this will hamper him big time in the next few yrs...Kobe is the better player unless LB somehow changes his game when he reaches 35-40 yrs old

lmao look at the Kobe haters in here. The man is retired and still just as relevant in yall mouths. I love it.

IMO Kobe is in my top 5 but if you had certain players ahead of him, I wouldn't argue it because there are multiple reasons I can see
why a person would have lets say, Duncan,Shaq,Bird,Magic,Olajuwon.
1.Jordan
2.Kareem
3.Lebron
4.Shaq/Kobe
5.Kobe/Shaq

Can't put Wilt, Bill Russell, pretty much anyone in the 50-60's era. Point Guards couldn't even dribble with their off hand, and Wilt and Bill will plying against people half their height and were on stacked teams in an eight-team league. No offensive three seconds and big men can just sit in the paint lmaoo. Imagine peak Dwight in this era.

Steph Curry would give people 50 a game if there was a 3pt line.

Does career = rings? If so, then sure. Otherwise, if you compare their career stats, Lebron either is better or is on pace to be better than Kobe in many, many categories (noting that Kobe has 6 seasons on Lebron).

People hate on guys like Nick Wright, but I assume he's read up on sites like these, because they support his stance on Lebron well.

Lebron has left contending teams before so he shouldn't be mad at Kyrie for doing the same.

I'm taking Kobe over LeBron any day. The media hype machine to supplant LeBron over Kobe only works on fools.

This is KD's fault. He is Cav's kryptonite. He has single-handedly destroyed the Cavs' super team.

A. Kobe wasn't the one recording it and sending it out to the media.
B. The guys who recorded the video were making people pay $1.99 to view it (Youtube/internet was different in those days)
C. Not all phones in those days could record video. Many could take still photos, but not yet video. Celebs weren't as wary of cell phones then as they have to be today.

"Colluded to force his way to the Lakers" yet worked out for the Celtics? Shaq didn't even join the Lakers until 2 weeks AFTER Kobe joined the team.

The hate for Lebron is unbelievable. I admit it he is an arrogant spoiled brat, but what is Kyrie with a lot worse resume???!!

That video came out at a very convenient time for Kobe, while he was demanding a trade and needed to shift the blame onto the Lakers' front office. If you really buy that he had no say at all in that video getting out there, you are naive.

This was also following a season where another year of Kobe's prime was wasted (Lebron never had this problem because he constantly leaves teams).

Kobe's agent at the time (Arn Tellem) and shoe endorsement guru (Sonny Vaccaro) have both admitted to steering Kobe towards the Lakers on draft day. It's well known that he refused to work out for the Kings, and when the Nets made it known they wanted to draft him, he and his camp threatened to go play in Europe. The only one still denying the blatant collusion is Kobe himself, and of course he's going to deny it.

Just curious. It was ok for Cleveland to trade Love for Paul George, just a month ago. But now, Irving is a coward? Its too easy call the loyalty card only when it is convenient.

actually not hard to believe the way the prosecutors messed up that slam dunk.

Only new thing in the latest espn article is that they were dangling kyrie as trade bait. So they were willing to get rid of him...so...

Kyrie would still be a playoff virgin if LeBron hadn't returned to Cleveland. I always got the impression that Kyrie would rather play to put up big scoring numbers and lose than playing for something bigger than himself.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

What does Kobe have to do with Lebron and Kyrie?

Last time I checked, Lebron bolted the Cavs for Miami, then back to the Cavs, and now looks to be leaving again. He has no business leaking Kyrie's behind the scenes dealings, that's worst than what D'Angelo Russell did to Nick Young because at least it was an accident and he was careless. Meanwhile Mr. Loyalty is freely ok with Love getting shopped. It's all so fake with Lebron.

Has there every been a star player who's been more detrimental to star players around him in history? Bosh and Love had their career arcs derailed. Wade got hung out a bit when Lebron left Miami the way he did. And now Bron is leaking Kyrie's dealings. WOW!

What gave that impression? Him winning 3 state titles in high school? Winning gold for U18 Team USA, choosing to play for Duke, winning gold and MVP in FIBA 2014, winning Olympic Gold in 2016, going to 3 straight finals and winning a championship, asking to be traded to play for Pop, Thibs or Riley/Spo?

For a guy that people say isnt a winner, he sure has won at every stage he has been at and basically has only had 3 years of not winning in his basketball life and that was when he was 19, 20 and 21 years old in the NBA with Dion Waiters as his 2nd option. And he clearly cares about winning because he was clearly pissed and upset with that team not winning and was frustrated all the time with that team.

Maybe hes just fed up with playing alongside Lebron and wants to get out of his shadow and he deoesnt want to wait in Cleveland for him to leave because he knows once he leaves that team is screwed when it comes to cap space and young assets to build around.
