This situation is getting very fluidy. It's at the 1.5 yard line.

There has been a delay of game penalty and we have now moved back to the 7 yard line. Stay tuned.

There needs to be a conclusion to the insanity that is Melo and the Rockets before too long. I understand there is no need to rush on this stuff, but damn it's been going on for a month now.

Really?
Who exactly are you bringing in to play D that would have more of an impact than Irving?
I mean, are you nuts???
You read these boards and NO ONE is good enough.
LOL
The NY Knicks rolled out D Rose last year and people LOVED it...if...he could stay health.
He did.
And you are still running him out of town.
If there is any chance to get Irving..any...we should be willing to offer Dolan's testicles.
Plays no D?
The guy is an elite basketball player.
Did they cry about his D a Duke?
Nuts
Put down the whiskey dude.
Alright, I shouldn't have pulled a Dolan. Let me try this.
The last two years, we went from one end of a spectrum to another with Calderon and Rose. One of them was a good floor general but slow and the other was a horrible floor general but athletic. I think this board is hoping for a 2-way player. Someone who plays defense, can run any system and has at least an above average offense.
This board was optimistic with Rose because he was the anti-Calderon but then the board figured out what Rose was really about.
Dolan's testicle is worth nothing, please try to at least put a hypothetical trade offer.
Irving is not good on defense and we just went through a year of Rose not playing defense.
Where did I say he wasn't an elite player?
What does Duke have to do anything with this situation?
What is better alt?

Wow, I am so crazy. Reign me in. I am out there making outlandish, crazy, assertions. It is a bit more credible than the other one. Woah!!!
and that assclown tommybeer is verified with 25k followers what's your point? just look at how he constructs the tweet using phrases like "likely to be" and "stay tuned"![]()
. just more fake gossip bull to attract retweets/hype.
I actually think Burt Steele might be more credible lol. I mean he's a former NFL executive and ESPN insider... He might know somebody.
I actually agree with this. I mean the dude is Old...Has not tweeted in 2 years. He gets nothing out of this really. It be the dudes like him who be the most credible sometimes even when they look suspect. Usually the cornballs are the young dudes who post alot.

F*** NO. The takent level of those picks would be end of the 1st rd which are not that more valuable than high 2nd rd. There is absolutely NO way now Mills & Perry are accepting Ryan Anderson AT THIS POINT in the negotiation. Melo would be a Rocket by now if they did. It's a good thing it dragged out a bit, it means if a deal goes down that HOU are using another "chip" or deal they had in their back pocket that doesn't include Ryan Anderson. The longer the negotiations go the more telling that Ryan Anderson won't be heading to NYK.
Revolution starts in the mind...

I've watched way too many game highlights and season mixes of players that will very likely never become Knicks players.

Well, they can't deal back to back picks. So one would be 3 years from now, at the earliest. One would be low 1st rounder, that's a given. The gamble is the other one winds up being 18-25 (not great either but better) if Paul's age catches up, he and/or Melo leave etc. A gamble for sure.
Personally I wouldn't do it. MAYBE if Anderson had 2 years left instead of 3.
Morey himself is hedging on that 2nd pick, to the team that takes Anderson, but moves crap somewhere, or to send to that 3rd team for Portland's crap, because picks have value and he also has a concern maybe the Rockets aren't all that in 3 + years.

F*** YES. Those picks are assets, and can be packaged with other picks/players to either move up or acquire another player. That's what smart teams do. They hoard assets and use them to improve in other ways. It's the one thing that the Knicks have never done.
