Keep Clarkson, cut Brewer and dump Deng at all costs.

Brewer may not be a knock down sniper but he can run the break with Lonzo as well as anyone. Plus, he's a great lengthy one on one defender to spar with Ingram in practice. His long arms should prepare BI for Gianni's Greek Pizza and Durantula's defense, at least a little bit. He's s good defender for BI to learn from. I'd say he stays.

JC can score and he might get the Lonzo bug and start passing. He would also need to get the defense bug in a hurry or he's the one I'd package with Deng. He still has huge upside, is a legit sixth man on most teams.

I don't think we're dumping Deng this off-season. In order to do that, it would require Randle having a huge season to start the year and combing Randle with Deng. Personally, if Randle plays that well, just stretch Deng.

I'd keep Brewer. I think he could do really well on a unit with Lonzo.

Only a certain type of player can revamp Deng's game. Deng is done, he is finished. But only a certain type of player. With a certain style. Certain temperament. Can help Deng turn his game around. Otherwise, and beyond that. Deng is a dead weight anchor that we have to carry around.

Cut Brewer? It costs the same, against the cap, if you keep him or cut him. So unless there is a minimum contract player you want to replace him with...why? Also, his salary might be useful in a future trade.

Think he wasn't mentioned him because he was trying to see if theres a good deal out there for him before camp starts. Now, with most of the rosters pretty much completed, he probably realized that Clarkson is going to be on the roster. I've been vocal about Clarkson getting a lot of minutes and freedom off the bench in order to raise his value. I think Magic might be thinking along the same lines.

This team is really lacking in scoring anyways..especially off the bench. Wouldn't be surprised if we can get a mid-late first for Clarkson at the deadline from a playoff team if he has a great scoring start to the season.

Gonna be tough to win 6th man playing next to Nance... Unless he gets injured again.

My surprise 6th man competition for him is Kuzma.

Won't be surprised if JC wins it though. Dude just does whatever is told of him and if the top management and coaches wants him to be 6MOTY, he'll do it.

I just hope he won't be another Lou Will or JCraw but someone with Ginobili's impact.
