it would be Kanter plus a player to make salaries work

otherwise itll be challenging

Adams is their only other expendable player who makes significant money

Kanter doesnt really have a future on this team IMO

Portland seems like a better fit for Melo IMO. If I were Melo I would rank them:
1) Portland
2) OKC
3) Houston
4) Cleveland

I say we keep him. Let him suffer. He's got 1+1 year left, he'll drop that player option at the end of the season, if we drop his minutes to 22-25, and don't destroy his value completely. Then he'll still be abel to go into free agency with excuse that he didn't have a good season cause of the bad knicks.

Horny wants to run more and get better defensively, so let's take on Kanter who can't out run anyone and plays matador defense..

Please make it stop!!!

the more these trade hypotheticals come out the more i feel the knicks should just hold melo to at least the deadline. leak out that you're taking him off the market completely. maybe then we'll get a decent offer.

Yeah, all jokes aside about his name, T. Ferguson seems like a really fun prospect for us to dream on developing and fits right in with the alleged mantra from Mills.

Only thing is the Thunder's GM is Sam Presti not Isiah Thomas

For Adams, I'd send them WHG too.

He's only a year older than WHG. Defensively, of course he's much better. Obviously WHG is better offensively, in terms of scoring/touch, but Adams and KP? Sign me up.

But Kanter is a much better player and can score in pretty much any way and can rebound. Kanter much better player then Ryno.

Four years younger and on a shorter contract. He's the better asset.

lets been honest neither Anderson or Kanter are "assets". They are salary fillers. Kanter is at least a less year so more palatable for the knicks. Still would require assets coming our way from OKC to take on that contract.

I say we force them to take noah with anthony or do nothing and we keep anthony and play him at PF this season 22-25 min a game!

Yikes.

sad, isnt it

but to be fair this team in OKC with Westbrook, Melo, George and Adams is pretty fun

i cant blame Melo

hell, its not like he ever demanded a trade anyway
were the ones who've been forcing him out

I understand. It's just flat out sad how all of this turned out.
