Mrcrockpots wrote:Agree completely. I predict Fultz's usage rate and shot attempts to gradually increase as the season progresses. While Simmons will continue to maintain his focus on showing the NBA world that he is an elite, do it all, pass first point guard.

fultz will be unguardable with the pnr especially at the elbow. Whether its embiid and simmoms providing the pick, fultz is going to do so much damage whether its pulling up, attacking the basket or hitting the rolling big. fultz never had any competent big men to play with at washington, now he got potentially two of the best bigs in the game

Fultz will have never played with so much room on the perimeter to operate. We have legit potential to have one of the most unstoppable offenses in the league. Who do you double team? Will defenses be able to collapse on Simmons' attacks to the hoop or down low against Embiid in iso situations? I foresee Brett Brown also pushing for us to make the extra pass for either the wide open 3 or layup. I've been watching a ton of Spurs pick and roll offense and Lebron James on the Heat offense videos. That's how I envision this thing to go down.

And that's why I do not want us to trade for Kyrie or Lebron this year. I'm all for signing Lebron next year, but us fans deserve a year of watching this thing grow and develop. Trading for Kyrie or Lebron would be like watching Lost but jumping from season 2 to the last couple of episodes. Please BC, don't rub us of that. I'm in for the ride.

Don't think I've heard what he actually orders from there or his favorite....makes a difference.

Not everything is bad there, not like we are talking about some of the more horrible fast food joints, Chick-fil-a actually has some healthy options. They haven't done commercials with athletes that I know of, but it would be interesting if Fultz could pull that off.

There was an article on Wapo that said that he was quite often browsing twitter to read criticism and that it was basically his motivation.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/sports/markelle-fultz-ebony-nba-draft-2017/

It does, quite often, in his mind. To Fultz, he has succeeded for two reasons: his small but powerful support system and the many times he has been overlooked, cheated, marginalized, held back and kept in the shadows. Driven less by hubris than insecurity, he remembers coaches who cut him and players who once overshadowed him; when he goes online, he skips the mock drafts, which almost universally list him as the top pick, and instead occasionally searches his name on Twitter to read the barbed ramblings of strangers.

If he ever finds Unbreakable99 accounts kid is gonna become the GOAT

And he needs to buy the new Z02 to prove that he's not trolling us with his Lonzo Ball obsession.

I feel like Fultz is one emo kid with all that tattoo on his leg.

I'm a big baller. I fell in love with Ball the first time I saw him play. This was before anyone knew who his dad was. There was no dad hype back then. I had an unbiased opinion and knew he was the guy. I'll buy everyone on this site big baller sneakers if he wins ROY. If Fultz has a better rookie season than Ball I'll make a t-shirt that says F2G Fultz > Ball. I don't see that's happening though

But before that, buy a ZO2 shoes first. Hahaha JK

When Fultz wins ROY, lets all put the ZO2 shoes in a dumpster with a torch and watch it burn.

If anything, Lonzo and Lavar are SO great for the NBA. The NBA needs rivalries and guys you love to hate. I like Lonzo as a player and I hope the Lakers become a decent team. Especially 2-3 years from now when the games matter. Embiid and Lavar are ensuring pure entertainment for years to come for the fans.

That's a tough bet. Damone Stoudemire once beat out Kevin Garnett for rookie of the year. The best talent doesnt always win ROY. Personally I think Simmons will win it because he will have the most impact on the most winning. That is, of the teams that have good rookies. But if the Lakers are better than last year, Ball will have a good case.
Fischella wrote:I think none of you guys that are pro-Embiid no how basketball works today.. is way easier to win it all with Omer Asik than Olajuwon.
Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

True. Simmons should win ROY if he plays like I think he will. I still can't see Fultz having a better rookie year than Ball though. Ball has the keys to the team and will play a lot of minutes. Fultz will be the 4th option in the starting unit and doesn't have the keys. He might impress me and play out of this world. We'll see.
