Re-watching those classic Birdman/Jax interviews. Miss that dude. Jax can be very annoying though.

Small sample. And no ****, the Cavs, who are a bad defensive team with LeBron on the court, are going to be bad a team without LeBron, a player who is taking up a third of their salary cap.

Windhorst has no sources in the Suns FO and it's not even what he said.

Windhorst: "Talking to some executives today, they think the team that could make the Cleveland Cavs the best offer for Kyrie Irving is the Phoenix Suns. They have a package they could offer with Eric Bledsoe and possibly this guy they just drafted, Josh Jackson. Would they be willing to include that prized young player in a package for Kyrie Irving? It's unclear at this point."

Windy is just the talking head of Lebron and the Cavs upper management. I have no doubt he threw those names out to try and cause a bidding war. I think you guys have the best package to offer regardless. Would love to see Kyrie on the Suns with Booker. You always start off high in negotiations and end up some place in the middle. I have a feeling you guys end up getting rid of Chandler in any deal with the Cavs. I also think Jackson might be a stretch but TJ Warren could be plausible or a different young piece on the roster not named Booker or Jackson.

Seriously, no real offensive talent outside of Love in that non-Lebron starting unit either and I'm not even sure how many of those games love actually played in.

Bledsoe/Dadley/young_player_not_named_Devin_or_Josh for Irving/Shump looks fair for both sides

Quick question for the guys that really really want Kyrie.

Would you take him knowing that it would eliminate the possibility of Lebron possibly returning in the future?

(To be transparent I would take Kyrie I just think its highly unlikely that CLE trades him to us. I also think its unlikely Lebron comes back.)

I wouldn't put myself in the really wants Kyrie camp, however, it'd be fun having a scorer like him on the team.

As far as Lebron goes, his time here has come and gone. He was part of the most amazing run this franchise has ever had, but its time for new blood. He can come back when we retire his jersey.

"who doesn't do anything but hit deep buckets"?

What? Where did this come from? Matt is a decent driver, getting downstream with ease, and is athletic too. His 3-point shooting is important, but he scores a lot in the paint.

https://www.nbascoutinglive.com/matt-williams-scouting-report

As it says in the report, he needs to become a better playmaker and increase his defensive intensity. At UCF, they played many 3 guard rotations (even 4-guard sometimes with only Tacko Fall inside.) Matt was often the guy on the perimeter ready to shoot when 3 guys were guarding Tacko, but one reason that the team improved this season is that they had a larger variety of plays than other seasons. Don't underrate this guy. I fully expect him to buy into the Heat's defensive swarm doctrine.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^
