Re: Trade & FA Ideas & Discussion
The BK injury might give us some flexibility with a Disabled Player Exception (if it gets approved). Although not sure how much it would really help us when we're so far below the cap anyway.

Re: Trade & FA Ideas & Discussion
Doubt they do anything w/ Knight. This year = rest, play video games, stay away from the team. Next yr they sit w/ BK's agent and discuss a buyout then next season. Nothing to do right now. He's not hurting the team. They not over the cap. And he's not gonna be a cancer in the locker room. He's good as gone til u do that buyout next season.
Focus on energy about all the Kyrie stuff w/ Bledsoe and then think about what u wanna do w/ Chandler/Dudley. That's all right now.
I gotta say, that injury and the sudden "out for 1 year" is quite suspicious. Usually there's an injury, a week of waiting/test results/well wishes, etc., and then an official statement of sorts. And usually players don't suddenly tear something in the offseason (generally speaking). Just sounds fishy all over...

I really hope not. With him being injured, he's going to be away from the team most of the year (if not all of it). It will free up minutes for guys anyway. Since we can't trade him, there's no reason to cut him. Just ride the year out and re-visit things next offseason

They actually want him and they have had trouble using their cap space. They have a pretty good group of 1-3s, but they now lack in bigs. I'm glad they took him because I feared they might be one team that could MAYBE offer Warren way too much money.

SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Re: Trade & FA Ideas & Discussion
Wow. Not sure if this Knight news is good or bad.
Good news:
-He won't take any time away from our youngsters.
-He won't get any chance to stop the ball movement and kill our offense.
-We're stuck with him, but he will be so busy doing rehab that he probably won't be with the team much.
Bad news:
-Between his play and his injury, the smart thing for him to do is ride out his contract. No way he takes a buyout for a dime less.
-If we do trade him, we WILL have to include an asset.
-He'll never be the same. Quickness and lateral movement will suffer.
-His value will now peak in summer of 2019 as an expiring.

Knight was not gonna play for the Suns again. Nothing has changed in the last 24 hours IMO.
