Not much to tell other than what was seen in college other than being a high motor highly competitive humble kid.
Seems like a versatile athletic player with exceptional basketball IQ and as a result a solid passer & defender.
Elite offensive rebounder at the collegiate level should transfer easily and very elite for his age at disrupting the passing lanes.
He does get into some foul trouble with his aggressive defense. His shooting needs some work, but it isn't broken. First step and handle are solid enough to compete at NBA level.

I think he would be a great pickup for Cleveland even if he never reaches the lofty comparisons of Kahwi Leonard, but most reviews of him as a prospect expect he will be close to that if not exceed it eventually.

added: Given he has a gym rat work ethic and is very hungry; I expect he is willing to do the dirty work and defend & could be the most nba ready player taken in the lottery on the defensive end. He is not an iso scorer specialist like Tatum , but his immediate ability to play off Lebron & co. would have to be considered tops in his class due to the IQ and passing along with his first step and the ability to attack the glass. He would fit in very well with this roster as constructed despite not being another "shooter" for Lebron.

Any chance Kyrie could be swapped for CP3?

CP3 cannot be traded until after august 28th. But Houston wouldn't do that,he is a better fit next to the ball dominant Harden than Kyrie would ever be. I would be shocked if the cavs make any deal to get Carmelo, too much salary and not enough of a return to justify what you would lose. Carmelo is not a championship team piece, never has been.

I hope not, at least not the Love/Melo part.

I think Kyrie has proven he can play next to a ball dominant facilitator with LeBron. CP3 overall is a better basketball player but Kyrie... He's younger. He's cheaper. He's a better 3 point shooter. He's even slightly less injury prone recently

Houston might consider it for 2 seconds if they like KI more than CP3 (doubtfull), and dismiss the idea because unless the reports are false Irving wants his own team Houston would not provide that & Irving would simply sign elsewhere in 2 years Whereas CP3 would likely finish his career in Houston if things work out there.

If Parker hadn't just come off another major injury I would consider it, would have to throw in an unprotected or maker instead of Brogdon

Again I am unbiased here, but that is ridiculous.

So is Kyrie, get you pay for, or don't buy it.

Unfortunately when it's publicly out that you want to be traded and then you go out and sign Rose, you really have no leverage anymore and you're not going to get what you think you should be

I don't think he wants his own team. His top team choices don't reflect that but it seems he just wants to get away from LeBron.

It's not ridiculous. Parker has had two major knee surgeries, he plays the same position as LBJ & Love, and he's about to get paid. If Middleton isn't added, Cavs aren't trading Irving to the Bucks. You don't get players on a discount from a conference rival. If a team has to take a .75 cents on the dollar, they're shipping the guy out West.

Coming to the Cavs forum and telling Cavs fans they have no leverage isn't going to end well for posters. First off, it accomplishes nothing. Second, it's factually incorrect. There are 28 other teams in the league. Kyrie's value is whatever the best offer from any team for him is. If two offers have similar value, and one is from a conference rival, then you take the one that's not from the conference rival.

That's the second time you've called a Cavs fan ridiculous, without any explanation as to why, on a Cavs forum. It would be best if there wasn't a third.
