Kyrie's career three-point percentage is below 40%. Last four years from three: 35%, 41%, 32%, 40%. So let's not pretend he's the third Splash Brother. He's capable of having seasons where he shoots 40+% from three, but you act like he's doing it every year when he isn't.

Seriously, what is Kyrie elite at right now besides dribbling and iso scoring? He doesn't play a lick of defense and he isn't great at creating for others. He's not getting compared to Stephon Marbury for no reason.

I said playoffs. Ya know, where he actually improves his stats.

And you must be crazy if you think the burden is on ME to prove what kyrie does

Please

He's a recurring nightmare.... Torches us every series. :(

And then Kobe can come out of retirement and come off the bench.

G35 wrote:For all those people knocking Kyries playmaking, how often are there two great playmakers on one team? It's really few teams that have two of them. When Lebron is averaging 7-8 ASTS per game how elite do you think Kyrie can get with his playmaking?......

The fact that he bombs away at unprecedented levels when Lebron is sitting should be easy to critique. It's not like the criticism only just started; he's had 3 years before Lebron came where people were questioning his playmaking ability. Now it's not fair to judge someone so early in their career, but at this point, the criticism is fair and the onus should be on Kyrie to show that he can grow as a player.

For the sake of NBA TV revenues, I hope Kyrie ends up on a semi-decent team. The revenge game will be bigger than Russ vs KD because we know LeBron takes these disses very seriously. You would have LeBron on Kyrie 90% of the time to try and shut him down. On the other end the Cavs would force Kyrie to switch on him and try to dunk on him.

But if Kyrie is on fire, he could easily torch the Cavs and abuse their PnR defense lol

Kyrie will absolutely SMOKE the Cavs, regardless of whom he plays for.

I hope he stays East.

For whatever reason, prospects and unproven guys are WAYYYY too overrated these days. I semi understand not wanting to give a top prospect for Paul George because hes such a huge threat to leave after 1 year. But guys like Butler and Kyrie?? i can guarandamntee that Josh jackson will NOT be as good as either one of these guys

Simmons are you nuts? Dude is a generational player

We have yet to see him play in a nba game yet. How can u say this? But sure if they think he is generational then don't trade him obv. Trade Fultz.

Rich Paul doesn't want Eric Bledsoe traded to Cleveland in case LeBron leaves after this season? Am I reading this right?

If so, this is a really messed up situation for Cleveland.

I'm calling BS on that tweet. Bledsoe has never played on a winner. He's had three major knee surgeries over the last five years. But, he doesn't want to come to a contending team because LBJ might leave next summer? D. Rose just took the minimum to play here.

Which team offered much more to him? Lakers and Bucks had room exceptions but i don't think additional $2m for one season was a game changer to Rose.

Lakers offered twice as much and made a hard push. Magic wants to show that big name FAs are signing with the Lakers again. KCP & D. Rose would've been a minor PR victory one year after the summer of Mozgov & Deng.

This is the trade I'd be targeting if I were the Cavs' GM:

Image

Derrick Rose/Malcolm Brogdon/Jose Calderon
Khris Middleton/J.R. Smith/Kyle Korver
LeBron James/Mirza Teletovic/Cedi Osman
Kevin Love/Jeff Green/Richard Jefferson
Tristan Thompson/Channing Frye

Butler is good friends with Kyrie. I think we now all know who was warning Butler away.
