Trading Kyrie or Love is the only way the Cavs win another championship in the Lebron era

I dont think the Cavs can get anything more out of the Lebron Love Irving trio. I think the problem is and has always been while Love and Irving are both talented, they are terrible fits on the same team. Think of all the things you can bring to a team. vison, athleticism, size, defense, scoring, rebounding, toughness. With your 2nd and 3rd best player you only get two of those boxes checked. Scoring more scoring and decent rebounding. I just dont think they can take the team any farther than it has been. I would be happy with the Kyrie trade request if it didnt come at the worst time. The fact that the team was going to potentially come back with Irving Love and Lebron to me is unsettling. I dont know how you can think standing pat is the thing to do with Lebron on the clock.

Love might get moved, but my guess is his value is still too low to justify it.
KI is gone
I am leaning towards odds increasing of Cavs agreeing to get back Wiggins and Dieng & the Wolves 2018 1st from OKC for Irving and Tavares.

Kyire can't come back at this point IMO & they won't trade both.

Hey all. Not sure how much you pay attention to the Jazz, but they could be a great trade partner for the Cav's, IMO. There was a rumor a few weeks ago they may have been pursuing Irving, but then they traded for Rubio, so that seems unlikely at this point.

Love, on the other hand would fill an offensive void the Jazz currently have. My question about him is, can he defend PF's, next to Gobert?

Any Jazz-involved trades you can see that would benefit both sides? (Just to not overcomplicate things, I'm sticking to 2 team trade ideas, although I'm sure adding a team like the Knicks would open up options.)

K. Love
R. Jefferson

D. Favors
R. Hood
Alec Burks or Joe Johnson

I don't think they will trade KLove until a deal with Irving has been completed or a deal with Irving that includes Love has been completed. alot of the front court return options are the blue chip players that might be available so if they get one then maybe they would move Love.I doubt it.
I think the Cavs will absolutely not settle for bad deals on Irving so they will not move Love in order to keep the 3 together should Irving end up staying in Cleveland until some team decides they want him bad enough to pay for him.
When the Cavs get a solid deal for Irving yes I could see Love being moved in some scenarios, but not many.

How do you guys feel about Favors, T Bradley, Hood, and a protected pick for Love.
Ingles is cooked.

I dont think we should trade Love. Maybe if bron leaves in a year.

Yep,the only circumstance where LBJ leaves really, is if we traded Love and Irving this season , or maybe if they drink the "chump punch" and take back garbage players to move Irving, then LBJ might feel like the window is closed and bolt, at which point they would be slipping into a mediocre state and consider such a trade of Love for a younger group, but I also think in that scenario Favors would not be appealing.

As a Jazz fan I love this deal and have proposed the same thing. Favors, Hood, Johnson, and a future pick for Love and Jefferson. The one big issue the Cavs may have, in my opinion, is that all three guys they're getting only have 1 year left on their contracts.

Speaking as a GSW fan now on th other corner of Ohio... the Cavs HAVE scorers....GSW has GSW has scorers. HOWEVER... GSW does not have weak links on D or guys too apt to pound the ball. Both teams are " A" on scoring. GSW is at least A- on D. Cavs.. more a B. GSW OFTEN (not always) gets more from the bench. GSW also... is super at Ball movement (nobody is close) . That Said as Best in the East...The Cavs CAN return to the finals (assuming the Kyrie drama goes well)

IF......GSW is HEALTHY......WHOEVER will need a bunch of LUCK. They are just so GOOD at various things. There's maybe 5 teams that MIGHT be able to upset GSW.
CENSORED... No comment.
