I call BS on Kale tanking a Kamehameha from SSB Goku.

I call BS on Caulifa achieving SS2 so easily, when Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan STRUGGLED to get there.

I call BS on Kale absolutely destroying Goku, THEN getting destroyed herself by Jiren, only for there to somehow be a presumably evenly matched fight between Jiren and Goku.

Let's be real, we're only watching DBS because of nostalgia...the writing and storyline is absolute ****.

And if there's going to be this kind of inconsistency, then at least let Gohan actually benefit from it! Let him "magically" achieve Mystic God status and be as powerful as Beerus or something. Frieza can apparently fully control his Golden form now, because he freaking thought about it really hard, but Gohan still loses to Piccolo in sparring matches, and he's still huddling up in a group with a guys like Tien and Master Roshi, instead of just ending universes singlehandedly.

Ever since Cell Saga, and a super brief moment during Buu Saga, it's been downhill for Gohan fans.

It's like the SSJ forms had no meaning from our time growing up.... how many people had to die and how much our "heroes" had to endure before breaking through into the next stage of power in their lives? Cappa, Caulifa, Kale... SSJ n done... wtf! lol

Why did they make Goku go blue n get his butt handed to him by Kale? at least power to ssj 3 and reserve blue since Blue is supposedly suppose to be god like power.... its like turning into Bleach inconsistency.... good lord.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... its bull cheeseit for sure but we watch based on our own nostalgia as you said.

The writing for DBS has been hit or miss for real. I loved the Goku Black story all the way up until the Trunks ass pull at the end. It was the first DragonBall saga that had actually mystery and some intrigue to it...even in the current arc, I think there's some shady stuff going on behind the scenes with the Angels, which is a good touch. But there's plenty of inconsistency in it. Like for instance, Goku asked in the last episode "Who are you?" to Caulifa when he literally MET her and got his hand slapped away by her prior to the tournament's start.

I think the Universe 6 girls being able to achieve SS + easily could just be written off that the Universe 6 Saiyans are more advanced some how. Go back to the Majin Buu saga....Goten and Trunks turned SS easily just like the girls have done.

Kale...that was something that had me baffled. I know they basically tried to pay homage to the old Broly movie fights. I thought it was just handled pretty sloppily. Some of the animation was wonky too.

And hell yes this is all about nostalgia :lol:

I just love seeing all of these characters again after god knows how long. Like #17 and #18 getting to fight along side Goku and Vegeta is really dope. I'm kind of more interested now in seeing how this resolves.

I still think however that there is going to be a connection revealed between The Angels and Zamasu going rogue like that.

I'm with you guys. Writing's been sloppy, but hell yeah I'm watching for nostalgia.

And yeah, it is kinda ridiculous how these Saiyans can advance to the next level so easily and it's facepalm inducing that Goku is helping them.

Krillin had to die for Goku to get to Super Saiyan. 16 and ass beatings everywhere were needed for Gohan to get to 2 and these guys did it like nothing.

Can we all agree again that Goku is the worst though?

DBS, IMO, is displaying Goku or showcasing Goku in a way that I feel that they are jumping the shark(look it up lol).... meaning what made Goku Goku isn't necessarily what people are seeing in DBS... Yes he loved combat and fighting is in his blood but by golly it's overwhelming in this series IMO. It's almost a different Goku with the base origins the same if that makes sense.

Goten and Trunks going SSJ is similar and the first of the wtf powerups but back then i didn't see it as i see the U6 SSJs....(another reason i feel DBZ/S missed out on Goten potentially being stronger(in a bad way for ratings) than Gohan but another story)

I have more opinions on the whole power level concept but another time(subtitle, not while im at work!)

Goku is a irresponsible nutjob and he admitted to Number 17 he only cares about fighting strong guys (or gals). He also has no problem with lying to people. His only redeeming quality is that he doesn't like seeing people treated badly. It actually kind of makes sense now. The Saiyans of Universe 7 were horrible people that wiped out entire planets on Freeza's behalf.

The timing is weird since this is literally a battle to the death but I guess he felt some kind of kinship with Caulifa so he decided to teach her. Kind of like how Vegeta taught the other Saiyan kid from Universe 6. :-?

I'm not sure he's that much different. He's just being fleshed out more and his worst traits are really shining more than his good ones.

Ginyu Force 2.0 was kind of underwhelming. Didn't they have a whole episode on Toppo recruiting Khaseral? He essentially did nothing and 17 was just toying with him in their brief encounter.

Seriously, I'm hoping more and more by the episode that Goku gets taken out early and in the most humiliating way possible.

I bought in to NEO/Antshares which some think will be China's Ethereum...

on July 27th i bought in for $500 at like 7$ a share... it was up 200% as of 2 days ago at like 22$ a share. i bought in another $500 at that point and now its at $30 a share.

Basically my initial $500 investment is now worth $2000 in just like 11 days and mine seconds $500 investment is up like $150 in less then 48 hours.

I'm debating whether or not to dump more capital in... some think this can run up to $300 by December... but not sure how much coin i want to drop in this.
