I would just bring Barbosa back.

No. Losing Knight actually makes the roster better. Too many otherwise.

He'll only be 28/29 years old.

If LeBron is disconnected in Cleveland, then the Cavs would be trading for assets for post-LeBron. Bledsoe might not be the most intriguing player in that scenario. They would want picks and promising young, young players.

If all it would take is Bledsoe and Dudley, there's no way you don't do it. Even if a pick is involved.

5. Where will Kyrie Irving play in 2017-18?

Haberstroh: Phoenix. I think an Eric Bledsoe and Jared Dudley swap should do it. I wouldn't put Josh Jackson in the deal if I'm the Suns. The Cavs don't have many realistic suitors who can offer a really good young point guard who plays defense and an ideal role player like Dudley.

Windhorst: Phoenix has the best cadre of assets to make a deal. Regardless of the Suns' current negotiating position, they probably could make it happen. They have to evaluate their timeline and the risk of Irving leaving in free agency, but that's the team. After that, Minnesota. As for Cleveland, I have no idea what the Cavs' future will look like until I see what they get for Irving.

I don't see Lebron being disconnected and shutting it down. I would see him wanting to win - even for the last year of his deal. Or what could be his last year in Cleveland

The Wiggins deal probably is the best deal for Cleveland - if Minnesota were to do that deal straight up. A lot of the other deals - it means taking on a veteran player contract. If Minnesota truly is offering Wiggins and Dieng, I do that deal yesterday.

Cavs probably will not save on the cap -maybe a little bit - unless they get the Twolves to take Frye too

Will be interesting to see where he goes, if he goes

its just he is never right so I had to stop following.

If Schultz is right, we could have a deal any day now. If Minnesota put Wiggins on the table, that deal would be done. After that, if San Antonio put Aldridge on the table, that would be the deal.

Our negotiating position gets stronger and stronger by the day.

He just takes what's already out there and puts it together hoping he makes an accurate prediction. He quotes "sources," but he's just referring to other writers and people on Twitter or message boards.

If the deal is truly Dudley, Bledsoe and possibly a guy like Millsap for cap filler for Kyrie and Frye/Jefferson or Kyrie/Shumpert - I do that deal all day long

My deal was always something like Bled, Dudley, Chriss and a draft pick for Kyrie, Jefferson, Frye and Shumpert

That is probably too much

He may have done that. Makes sense that Cavs are in no rush, makes sense that we offered Bledsoe and spare parts. Eventually, Cleveand will come to the conclusion that we are the best they can do.

Yes, I just read that too and thought "Well, that's obviously a deal I'd do." Dudley does make sense for them for this year, and we'd have to take Frye back or Shumpert or something, but that's obviously worth it.

Though about you mentioning a pick. I still probably wouldn't trade any of our own unprotected or the Miami 2021. They'd have to have at least SOME protection on it. Especially next year's and our 2020 pick.

Didn't that article also say somewhere that Towns and Butler were really trying to convince Thibs to go for Kyrie?

If it were just Bledsoe/Dudley and the 2018 Miami 1st for Irving I'd be thrilled. I don't think taking back Frye or Shump does much since both of those guys expire the same time as Dudley/Bledsoe. I would think we'd have to take back someone who still has three years left like Smith or Thompson, but I feel like those guys are key role players in the Cavs system. I guess taking Frye or Shump though sheds some luxury tax for the Cavs this year, and if thats what they are trying to accomplish then that makes sense.

And the weird gets weirder.....

So, im just chillin, reading TMZ and i see this story about how Irvings trade request came after meeting with this Celeb Church Pastor Carl Lentz. Yes the same Carl Lentz that has been hanging with Justin Bieber, and also reportedly the cause of Bieber cancelling the rest of his world tour. Anyways, the story talked about how Irving, Bieber, and Lentz were all 3 hanging out this past weekend, and they had a video attached showing them playing a Pop-Shot game at Dave & Busters. As im watching this video, im like, "Hmmmm.... that 7 foot bearded fellow next to Bieber looks an awfully lot like Tyson Chandler!"

http://www.tmz.com/2017/07/26/kyrie-irving-cleveland-cavaliers-hillsong-church-justin-bieber/

So i do a little more research, and sure enough it is him. This article links Chandler with Bieber and Lentz:

http://www.complex.com/sports/2015/12/justin-bieber-baptized-tyson-chandlers-bathtub

And just now as i was checking Youtube to see if TMZ had the video uploaded of the Dave & Busters trip, i found this:

So long story short, Chandler was with Irving and Lentz (And Bieber) when the discussion about leaving Cleveland supposedly took place.

Interesting......

Yeah I remember seeing Chandler hanging with Bieber I think last summer. It's weird. I mentioned in another thread that with James Jones, I wonder if Jones may have been part of the leak that Irving wanted out. It would explain why we didn't make a trade before the draft so Kyrie's value would plummet. And again, I would think Jones has at least asked Kyrie if he wouldn't mind playing in Phoenix or else the Suns wouldn't be a part of the trade rumors surrounding him.

I literally said we should offer Bledsoe/pick. Taking on a bad contract would be the sweetener. Low and behold

Also did they rent out the D&B? I can't imagine Bieber not having a crowd of paparazzi following him 24/7.
