The Detroit Pistons have signed Landry Nnoko to a partially guaranteed contract, according to Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype.

Nnoko saw limited action with the Pistons during the Orlando Summer League.

The 6-foot-10 Nnoko is a defensive-minded big man who can rebound, block shots and run the floor.

This trumpets the dissatisfaction SVG and Bower feel with Harris and Leuer at PF and signals a complete paradigm shift in how they view the construction of the team.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

That pick looks hilariously photoshopped.

We need someone that can hustle if Dre has his nights, so good on us I guess.

I think Eric Moreland has a much better chance in that regard. And still ridiculously long odds at that still...

He seems like a solid signing. Developmental prospect with a great physical profile. Extremely raw, but hardworking with good size, length, and athleticism. Is SVG picking up guys like Nnoko and Moreland hoping to affect Dre? It would be hard to dog it in practice with guys like this and not look bad? Kind of a cultural statement?

Dudes, this guy was signed to play in Grand Rapids. You sign him to a league minimum partially guaranteed deal ($50K maximum now) and then cut him at the end of camp and assign him to GR as an affiliate player.

Yes, of course, but he'll practice with the team leading up to the season, even though he'll likely spend most of his time with the Drive. Thanks though, the obvious never occurred to me. I like the low cost signing of these hustle players. You never know when one might "get it" and then all our "we never sign anyone good" crew will face an amusing dilemma.
