Giant Rebuild Problem

You run the risk of pissing Bumgarner off but the appeal is, "look. be honest. We aren't going anywhere but we have Posey signed and we are building this team around you."

Bumgarner may never be the same again and, even if he will be, it will likely take another season or two for him to recapture his form. Crawford and Belt are guys who should be a part of the team. If they're not going for a total rebuild including trading Posey, they don't really have much left in the way to get enough assets back where a total rebuild would make sense. Their farm system seems to have gotten a boost from drafting Heliot Ramos where they have 5 solid prospects atop their developmental pipeline with maybe 2 or 3 of them close to contributing in Christian Arroyo and Chris Shaw and maybe Tyler Beede.

Honestly, I think they have to grin and bear it with the current roster and hope things turnaround in the short-term. Pitching is the biggest problem for San Francisco right now.

Gotta say.

BTW it looks like our suspicion maybe true that Kershaw is apparently already throwing. we just want him fresh for the post season.

That Corey Seager is checking into that elite status just like he did last year.

I'm sure there's some stat out there that says he's been insane the last couple of weeks or so.

Pleased that Rich Hill has turned his season around.

Would like to see him get deeper into games but still pleased he's been good as of late.

Please stay healthy.

Keep the train rolling

Any loss now is unexpected
A series loss just doesn't seem likely.

This team is just a joy

we are now down to the last day until the non wavers trade deadline. I am not about to give up the farm for any kind of pitching help that will be marginal at best, but I am still very excited to see what our FO will do.

Ryu so far after 2.0 innings. 4K, 1BB, zero hits given up.

I've been saying this for sometime, that all Ryu needs is enough time to strengthen his shoulder and we get back that 3.00 ERA rook from a few years ago, and this game just maybe, that turning point.

I am pumped! come on my wife's long long distant relative!!!!
