Oney needs to get in a tag team. The NXT tag division is wide open right now.

hopefully heavy machinery are that team that challenges AOP. Either that or they bring in War Machine (to be honest their indy run is mostly done). AOP vs War Machine would be a great big hoss showdown.

i'm intrigued. what's their gimmick exactly?

Not sure. Think they're just experimenting at house shows

At first I didn't really like the Velveteen Dream... But he's grown on me pretty quick.

He has crazy potential. And he's only 21.

One of, if not THE BEST WWE shows I've ever been to.

Roderick Strong beats Velveteen Dream via Lung Blower Suplex in what was one of the best matches of the night. Dream is going to be very good, everything he does seems so smooth. He also wore a Cubs shirt to the ring and was going to toss it into the crowd, he then said "No, you can't have my stuff. It's mine". Pretty good spot when Dream was trying to hit Strong with a sunset flip from outside the ropes and Roddy countered it into a back breaker.

Liv Morgan & Ruby Riot beat Bianca Blair and Sonya Deville via Ruby's Wind-up Overhead Kick. Good match but Blair still needs work. Although the highlight of this one was Blair using that giant, gross pony tail to whip Morgan in the stomach. Made an awesome noise and the crowd went nuts.

Johnny Gargano beats Killian Dain via Schoolboy Roll Up. Good match, Gargano probably got the loudest pop of the night. Johnny didn't get much offense in but still hit some of his signature stuff, Dain is a monster in person.

Alesiter Black beats Andrade Cien Almas via Black Mass. Really good match. Crowd was really into Black except for the people behind me that kept screaming about worshiping Satan and practicing black voodoo. Almas was really good, all of his cocky heel stuff went over big. Black's strikes look really good live.

Sanity (Young & Wolfe) beat Heavy Machinery via Middle Rope assisted Neck Breaker. The most fun match of the night. Ottis wore a Reggie White jersey to the ring which started multiple GO PACK GO chants. Eric Young was hilarious when he was on the outside waiting for the tag. Kept yelling at people, trying to kick them and was screaming random things. At one point, HM kept tossing Wolfe between the two of them which started a "Bear Hug City" chant. I hope that sticks.

Ember Moon beats Mandy Rose via submission with the Koji Clutch. One of the better matches of the night, Crowd was very hot for Ember Moon. Mandy Rose looked very good, shes definitely come a long way. Ember didn't hit the Eclipse or even attempt it. I don't recall her ever using the Koji Clutch before, wonder if she'll start using it on TV. I also couldn't see clearly but I think she set it up with a Russian leg sweep then rolled backwards in one fluid motion, it looked really good.

Kassius Ohno & Drew McIntyre beat Bobby Roode & Hideo Itami via KO's Rolling Elbow to Roode. Roode got a huge reaction when announced. Really good match, a lot of funny banter between the teams and with Roode talking to the crowd. Funny part was when Roode was yelling at a dan in the front row to shut his mouth, Roode walked towards him and screamed at him to sit down. The guy sat down and the crowd erupted into cheers for Roode. McIntyre pulled Roode into the ring, pointed to the guy that Bobby yelled at and said "This is for you" then clocked Roode. After KO hit Roode with the rolling elbow and the match was over, Roode grabbed the mic and said something to the effect of "You think your real good, Ohno? You think you can beat the champ? You think you can beat me one on one right now?" Crowd went nuts because we thought we were getting a title match right now. Roode said "We'll find out tomorrow night in a real city like Green Bay because Milwaukee sucks". The Roode left. KO and McIntyre came back to the ring and stayed for awhile, shaking hands and taking pictures.

Really great night, really fun event. I think the most surprising thing was our bar tab was only like $27 for 4 beers, 5 whiskey cokes (doubles) and a water. That's why I love wrestling at Turner Hall.

Ember definitely strikes me as one of the better female performers I've ever seen in wrestling. She's a natural athlete, but she also just seems to get wrestling. Everything she does seems natural. Her and Asuka are just fantastic and appear to be a level above everyone else in the NXT women's division (not counting MYC women like Kairi who haven't yet debuted in NXT/WWE). Nikki is up there too, but I think she's a notch below Asuka and Ember.

I went to NXT at Turner Hall last February and it was the best I've ever been to. Crowd was insane hot.

Got Enzo/Cass vs Revival, Bayley/Jax, Bliss/Royce, Samson/Bull Dempsey (brilliant spot where Samson refused to start the match until his guitar was in tune), Eva Marie/? (Can't remember but crowd chanted please retire at Eva  ) Zayn/Ciampa (best match I've ever seen live and a surprise visit from KO. Pop was nuts). Main Event was Balor/Corbin/Crews. Went to the following night in Chicago and was quite disappointed by the crowd in comparison. Haven't been to a live show since just because there's no way that Milwaukee show can be topped.

Do it for Chuck

I'm still mad at myself for not going to that one last year, I had to turn it down due to work obligations. That card was nuts and a surprise KO appearance. Looked great.

I'd suggest to anyone that likes wrestling even a little, get to an NXT Live show. I'm a big wrestling fan but the two people I went with are not but they both had an amazing time.

We also stopped at a place downtown called Valhalla on 3rd after NXT. Was pretty fun and had good drinks/food/prices.

Maybe that's just a bad pic but it looks like Eric Young is getting out of shape.

Aleister Black vs Kyle O'Reilly was fantastic. The way they're building Black has been amazing. Love the good mix of squashes, indy debuts (while still making the debuts look strong) and NXT vets being fed to Black. I try not to read NXT spoilers but based off of tonight, looks like we'll get Black vs Itami a NXT Brooklyn.

yeah i'm actually amazed at how strong Black is being booked, he wasn't even booked this strong on the indies to be honest (like he was a solid mid-card to upper-mid in the UK and in Germany he did main event). He has looked great though and is pretty interesting as a character.

Black vs Itami would be stiff (though has to be said, RIP Black in that case, Japanese strong style wrestlers are not to be messed with).

KOR has become really entertaining to watch in the ring also, my main concern is like Strong, he may be a bit too bland in that department.

Given that they booked both O'Reilly and Fish to lose their debuts, I'm guessing a reDRagon reunion is going to happen in NXT in the near future. The tag division could use some new blood anyway with the Revival gone and DIY broken up.

I swear the only reason I watch WWE anymore is for weekly NXT and the occasional good SD..Black is quickly becoming one of my favorite performers to watch...Everything from his character to his in ring work..just phenomenal!

Aleister Black has top notch facial expressions, a fantastic look, great in-ring ability, one of the best finishing moves in wrestling today.

He's gonna go down as one of the greats.

The way that match was going, I was sure Black was going to finally bust out his Dragon Slayer or Anti- Cross submission. Hopefully that comes soon.

Gargano's new theme is TERRIBLE! One of the worst I've heard in a long time.
