There is no turning anything around when it comes to Bizmack. He'll be entering his 6th season and has likely reached his ceiling. I give him less of a chance of improving as a player than Mario who I give a 0.1% chance.mr2good wrote:OrlandoMagic wrote:Nyce_1 wrote:lol Mario gonna prove y'all wrong.
He's breaking out this year.
If he can give 12 pts 4 rebs I would be thrilled. And hopefully he does cause that would help us out tremendously
I'm completely on board w/ Mario turning it around! Maybe an offseason with Mario & Biz working with Forcier will actually make a difference.

I don't think Mario has any type of breakout year let alone average 12ppg playing behind Simmons, Ross, and possibly ji.
Break out doesn't really have to mean the raw stat totals. Breaking out of that shooting slump (better all around efficiency) and breaking out of the lower confidence rut he was stuck in last season. Look at what Otto Porter has done. Took him longer than anyone might have wanted.... but he earned himself a good payday this season. (rather expensive one though)
If he is working as hard as he implied... why would you not want to have confidence in the guy. If he becomes consistent this season.... someone or even ones that are above him might be on the block. Was looking at the highlight from 2016-2017 for Simmons and Hezonja..... and i believe that they would make a great compliment to one another at the wing positions if they become consistent this season. Love Ross and Fournier.. but I would be happy if those two take the bulk of the minutes from them and Ross n Fournier are traded for future talent or to fill in particular team needs.
Bis is just..... Bis. Which isn't a bad thing. It's more about utilization to me. With time and defensive scheme.... bis is nearly a double double player and a his worth is less statistically noticeable.... therefore can't just look at the box score to gauge.

What?! Yes it does! A breakout season is characterized by a significant sudden improvement which is typically seen in a jump in raw statistics. If I had to guess that's very definition of a player having a breakout year. Getting out of shooting slump with some increased efficiency isn't having a breakout year, that's called a slight improvement, and a slight improvement isnt going to lead to trading two of our best wing players because Mario decided to finally show up for work in year 3. I also never said that I didnt want to have confidence in him, I want to have confidence in him I just don't and rightfully so. What the hell has he done outside of talking about hard work? Talk is cheap. If he shows it on the court then i'd be ecstatic.yoyojw17 wrote:Blue_and_Whte wrote:OrlandoMagic wrote:

well... we won't know about his hard work on the the offseason .... till the season starts. And yes.... you can't gauge him on raw stats this season if he there are 4 players vying for the same time. But yes.... you are right about the use of Breakout. But i would see it as a huge step forward in the right direction if he is showing markable improvements across the board and will be ecstatic with you. And we won't know until the season starts.
