Tobacco Road and west coast draft: draft thread

Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1979-80 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1979 but the season you choose can't be before 1979-80.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players.

3. All of your players must have played for a college that is currently a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference or PAC-12 conference:

North Carolina
Florida State
Louisville
Notre Dame
Duke
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Miami
Syracuse
Wake Forest
Georgia Tech
Clemson
Pittsburgh
NC State
Boston College
USC
UCLA
Cal
Stanford
Oregon
Oregon St.
Utah
Colorado
Washington
Washington St.
Arizona
Arizona St

Basketball reference will determine which players are associated with these schools.

4. There are no exceptions.

5. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.

6. The winner of the draft will be determined by way of a 16-team playoff tournament (more below).

7. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoff tournament begins.

8. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

9. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

10. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, your pick window will be halved to one hour. The commissioner reserves the right to skip or replace coaches as needed.

11. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

12. Draft order will be completely randomized.

13. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. The quoting is only a courtesy. The clock starts after the previous pick. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

Team Roster Page Rules:

1. You will be responsible for creating a roster page for your fantasy team. Here are the things that you will be required to include on your roster page:

. Rotations
. Draft selections
. The most important of all, you must show the total FGA per player on your roster AND a total sum of each players FGA to display that it is under the required 90.0 FGA

-All of the above must be completed before playoffs begin.

Playoff Rules:

1. After the draft has been completed we will determine a champion by a method to be determined. Signups will be limited to 16 teams.

2. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in playoff matchups.

3. Everyone will vote for who they think would win in each matchup. Whoever gets 4 votes first will advance to the next round of the playoff bracket. Please put effort into your votes. Do not write something like "Hawk Eye in 4" or "I vote for Hawk Eye". Put some thought into it.

4. You are not allowed to vote for yourself. If you do it will not count.

After we have a champion the game will end!
