I hope Cavs fans aren't seriously getting excited about getting Josh Jackson for Kyrie because it's just not gonna happen imo. All it does is set up for disappointment when Kyrie gets traded to either the Suns or some other team and Josh Jackson remains a Sun.

Agreed. I also hope Suns fans aren't seriously getting excited about getting Kyrie Irving and keeping Josh because it's just not gonna happen imo.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Cavs are getting Bledsoe, a low 1st, and a player Suns don't want; nothing more...

What do you mean by "low 1st"? Are you referring to the top 7 protected Miami pick?

I meant a lower 1st, if the Suns own it. I wouldn't give away a lottery pick if I'm the Suns' GM. They are rebuilding, and the last thing rebuilding teams should give away are potentially lottery picks. I wouldn't even give up a low 1st if you want my opinion straight. I would give only Bledsoe , Chandler and Warren, win now players for James. No future prospects unless I'm very low on them.

I wouldn't mind a trade with no Jackson. I don't think he helps the Cavaliers much this season. I would actually prefer Bledsoe, Warren, and Chriss or Bender. That's a starter, a good bench piece with real scoring ability, and a prospect. I'm higher on Warren than most though.

I've never been high on the Denver possibilities because of their lackluster vets. Chandler doesn't move the needle and Faried is pointless.

I can't think of one Suns fan who would be even a bit upset that the Suns didn't trade Jackson for Irving so I think Suns fans are well prepared for the scenario in which Cavs don't trade Irving to the Suns.

I believe today is the day he can officially be traded...I mean why else were they waiting this long? I see it happening within the next few days. MY SAUCES!

The reason Cavs want Jackson so bad is cuz apparently LeBron is in love with him lol. Lebron gets what he wants

Yep, the Suns fans are ready to ride this out with Bled. Would be cool if the teams broke off communication and dropped the idea of a trade between the two.

Just trade him to Detroit already, Gilbert has enough invested downtown that he will only help himself by giving us Kyrie with the new arena next season.

Look...Phoenix and Cleveland aren't cutting off talks because they both want to get a deal done...they are just arguing over the details. They probably have most of it done....I am sure Cleveland has offered no draft pick (or just a pick swap or something like that) if Phoenix gives them Jackson...and probably will take Chriss instead but will cost them 2 not heavily protected 1sts with one of them being Phoenix's. Probably negotiating from there....believe this will get done sooner than the report out today seems to suggest...If I remember, they came out that Indiana was in no hurry to do a deal for George, and in a day or two he was traded !! I would expect a trade to go down (assuming it will be Phoenix, but believe if they don't budge on Jackson it will be Denver) by Monday.

He's a less talented copy of Lebron and also grew up in the rust belt, I could see why he'd like him.

If he hasn't been traded by now, I think the Cavs just gonna ride with it this season.

Can I please remind everyone that training camp doesn't start until the last week in SEPTEMBER (so approximately SEVEN weeks away), so basically you can say if Kyrie isn't traded by then, he will probably start the season in Cleveland, but I seriously doubt it goes past mid August before he is traded.

I get Suns fans not wanting to trade Jackson, but I have serious doubts that the Suns F.O. wants to ride anything out with Bledsoe. He's another injury away from losing his remaining trade value. Dennis Smith didn't go until No. 9. If they could've gotten him for Bledsoe on draft day, they would've.

IMO, that is who Cleveland should be targeting. I would trade Irving straight up for Smith if possible salary wise and I am a HUGE Irving fan.

My biased opinion on KI trade scenarios is this: No team is going to give up equal value "until they have too" because he requested a trade so they feel that devalues what should be returned, as if KI is forcing the Cavs hand, but in truth does not,as the player is worth what they are worth regardless of any media exploited and exaggerated mutual hate between Irving and Lebron which really is nothing more than 2 players throwing shots at each other due to 1 wanting to leave regardless of reasons. It is not an impossibility the Cav's don't trade him. I think the odds are greater knowing the ego maniac that Dan Gilbert is, that he would rather not trade him for squat than settle for salary match scrubs like other teams have done for star players wanting out.
The belief that the Cav's would be terrible due to some petty squabble in the locker room among all stars is short sighted.
I do believe the Cav's should move on from him, and will find a fair deal.Maybe not a "win" but a fair deal.
Otherwise they will absolutely make him honor his contract in Cleveland and let him ruin his own future in FA if he is unwilling to play to his potential.
So why give him up for peanuts when he has 2 years locked in? that's right they wouldn't and won't.No org should, some would.

If Dallas wants to do that I don't see how Cleveland turns them down. I think Dennis Smith is the best player drafted since Giannis.
