If a proposed deal is Irving for Bender and Bledsoe, it works in the trade machine.
But if we're talking about taking back Frye or Shump, then we're talking about needing to add more salary back their way. So Dudley and/or Chandler would most def be on the move. I'd prob rather swap Shump and Dudley since they have the same number of years left and about the same contract.
So if we're gonna trade Bender and Bledsoe, then I would prefer we do this:
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y97p3ldh Cavs in: Bledsoe, Bender, Dudley, Chandler, Miami 2018 pick.
Cavs Out: Irving, Frye Shumpert
Suns in: Irving, Shumpert, Frye
Suns Out: Bledsoe, Bender, Dudley, Chandler, Miami 2018 pick.
Shumpert replaces Dudley and is a more valuable, tradeable piece.
Frye replaces Chandler and gets us out from his final year.
This is the type of move that would then allow us to attack next years free agency before Irving commands a ton more money (along with Booker and Warren).
