I just watched KP running full speed up and down the court making plays for half the third and all if the fourth. In a win. Playing both ends of the court and quite often being at bith ends before anyone on the team. So whatever conditioning you guys have issue with...I don't see it. Dirk played about 4 minutes on the first qtr. LOL

What game are you guys watching.

KP has looked tired but still managed to play a good game. He walks down the court when a guard is running the ball up, and he's flat footed in between plays. But he's done lots of good stuff - especially love his passing and defense. He has played about ⅔ of the the time, the other ⅓ was Dirk.

Would you hustle a ton as a big in a game where the guard is going to go 1 on 3 and hoist up a 3 pointer?

I hope KP makes the All Star game this year. So many guys went out west. Not sure who the competition is up front.

I think KP had a good game overall.

His jumpshot is still looking flat though. That's one thing I was hoping he would improve.

I would - but only because hustle is the only decent part of my game.
If he didn't look so tired, I wouldn't worry he didn't go all out in an exhibition game. I'd like to think we're going to run, and he'll be a part of it.

He always shot better when he had more arc on his shot. Somebody said it was from tired legs, but who knows?

Better ask Janis.

Damn. I had to be back from Joburg before this charity exhibition game was put on the table. Look, don't be looking/digging for some omen that KP is going to have a lackluster season. These guys are OBLIGATED not to get hurt at a South Africa scrimmage. I love the warm promotion of the game. South Africa is a country, LOADED with potential and one of the warmest cultures on the planet.

Having stayed at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Tokyo, there is BETTER customer service in South Africa than in Japan. Sorry. Just is.

All in all, this was better played than the All Star game. Nobody tried to turn it into his personal exhibition, there was some degree of team play, and there was actually some defense, too. Mudiay and Oladipo played really well for Team Africa. CJM and KP played really well for Team World. Team World had more talent and won, but it was a contested game throughout.

• Cousins chucked A LOT IMO.

• Oladipo had a GREAT complete game and Mudiay looked good!

• Porzingis looked gooooooooood and had a VERY efficient game for the touches he got! His core workouts are working because his legs look a little bigger and he stood his ground MUCH better!

All in all was a fun game to watch!

KP looked excellent, I swear some of you guys expect this mythical beast with the mid range game of Dirk, the strength of the Admiral, then he should move like Durant, guard the rim like Mutombo or Morning, pass like Sabonis, have footwork and low-post game like the Dream, shoot threes like Steph Curry and defend the pick&roll like Garnett. The expectations are crazy, which I understand on a level, but still... This is coming from someone who fully expects KP to have a HOF career, but he may not consistently dominate next season just yet, and that would be okay.

Come on. Really? No one expects him to have the strength of the Admiral. DRob was probably the most conditioned player of all time.

Ok, but you get my point, right?
