A trade that gives us a starting 5 that actually compliments each others strengths and weaknesses instead of exposes them

1 - Elf and Gordon to start and show big improvements and prove they should be extended.
2 - Isaak to get a good share of minutes and show potential
3 - Play hard all game and not get blown out and actually win some games!

As a #1, I agree.
For #2, a bench that can complement the exits. That is, if a SG goes out, a new SG needs to come in that balances the above #1/
For #3, a roster that can disrupt all the above (and become a "new team").
..

I think our bench has some balance now, my biggest issue is that I don't think Payton and Gordon is going to work unless we can get a true volume scorer at the 2 or 3 spot. It's hard to be a team built without a true star when you have a point guard and power forward who aren't creating space, maybe we can turn vuc into a 3 pt shooter to help with the issue but it'll be tough. ed

#1 Elf and AG live up to their potential, developed a nice respectable jumper in the offseason and are swiftly resigned.
#2 Bismack lives up to his contract a little more this year. At least has more blocks than posters on him.
#3 Vogel decides to run plays.
