Steph Curry is the only other guy I've seen make these weird circus shots this regularly on video. He shot a couple from the stands in Washington's Instagram awhile back.

Well he's not recruiting Bron with that statement, but he is entitled to his opinion.

If Lebron decides to come here what Fultz says or thinks won't matter. Fultz even being on the team would hardly matter.

Lebron would be coming to play with Simmons and Embiid more than anything else. Said another way, the only way Lebron considers us is if Simmons and Embiid are blowing up.

Yeah Fultz posted a praying symbol about Bron coming here, so he obviously would be on board.

Not a big deal at all, but I do think Fultz being on the team does matter. He is part of the core that would make Bron come here along with Simmons and Embiid.

Good interview with Fultz. He was asked who the PG would be in this interview too. I like Fultz's demeanor. He seems real.

Fultz thinking that Kobe is better than Lebron is whatever. It seems like players have the worst opinions about basketball after listening to them broadcast and analyse. Just another player with a stupid basketball opinion - he joins many of them.

I don't think it's a stupid opinion to think Kobe is better than Lebron. I disagree but there are many ways he seems like to superior player, especially to players who value the on the court aspect of the game and less pure statistics.

How many times did he make this shot? Different reaction and the ball goes the other way, apparently he made it a few times.

The only people who go crazy about preferring Kobe over Lebron are analytics nerds and contrarians. Lebron is probably an all around better player, but Kobe is one of the 3 greatest scorers who has ever lived and if someone prefers that, I can see it. Also has 2nd greatest killer instinct ever behind Jordan.

Nah, it's not close imo. Lebron's in contention for best ever, Kobe is optimistically second team.

I'm confused..I thought Fultz was #7. Is he going to wear #20 or #7?

Not to turn this into a GOAT thread, but that's actually an interesting way of looking at it. Using traditional positions, I'd say...

1st team:
PG: Magic
SG: MJ
SF: LeBron
PF: Duncan
C: Kareem

2nd team:
PG: Big O
SG: Kobe
SF: Bird
PF: Mailman
C: Wilt

After those two teams it gets a little bit difficult to sort out, especially the big man situation...Shaq, Dream, and Russell are all 2nd team candidates and probably top 10 overall. West could also be considered 2nd team over Kobe, but I'd probably still take Kobe.

Possible 3rd team:
PG: Stockton or Curry?
SG: West?
SF: Erving or KD?
PF: Chuck, Dirk, or KG?
C: Shaq, Dream, or Russell?

But yea, LeBron > Kobe without a doubt.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Interesting you mention that, me and a friend did a snake mock draft of the greatest players of all time (course you said using traditional positions which we didn't)...

Mine:
PG: Magic
SG: Kobe
SF: Bird
PF: Kareem
C: Wilt

His:
PG: Bron
SG: MJ
SF: Duncan
PF: Shaq
C: Russell

I still think I would abuse him.

Depends on what you value, it's entirely subjective.

I do have to agree about the scoring part, among non centers, I would take Kobe over anyone other than Jordan.

Now as far as the greatest of all time, it takes more than that which is why Bron out ranks him there. But it does depend on the person and what they respect more with a player, not just the numbers. Might not be bad that Fultz likes Kobe cause thats what we need out of him, let Ben worry about being Bron.

Correct. Its not really close.

See? Lonzo gets it. How can you not love Lonzo. He knows the game and plays it well too. Lonzo says LeBron is better than Kobe. I think I'm in love. I love Ball so much. And it would be easy to say Kobe when he's a Laker but nope. He says the right thing. I'm in tears right now.

LeBron's defense is such game changing, hopefully a 6'10 Ben can provide a LeBron type impact this year. Ben is very strong, too. Ben's defense could be a hidden skill that improves.

Kobe and Shaq or LeBron and Bosh or Ben and Embiid?

Fultz can be the Wade type or 2nd option.

As someone who has no vested interest in either Lebron or Kobe, I really couldn't care less who is the better player, neither of them are Sixers. I will say though that for a purely entertainment perspective, I enjoyed watching Kobe more. Just think he's a more fun player to watch.

Even calling Lebron better, there has been a growing contingent of people over the last 5+ years trying to be contrarians and talking about how Kobe is the most overrated player. "OMG he shoots the ball 50 times to get 50!" Ummm... no he doesn't, he did at the end of his career because the dude was playing on one leg and the organization just let him run roughshod over everyone with no one to keep him in check. Two, Kobe in his price was a top level defender, one of the most underrated aspects of his game.
