Unless Mills is a complete Boob, he's going to insist that the Cavs take both Melo and Noah as part of any Porzingis deal.

Melo, Noah and Porzingis for Irving, Love and Frye. Or Something along those lines. Would Melo waive his no trade to play with LeBron for a year?

Man don't speak for NY. The Knicks aren't trading a 7 foot 3 player who has high potential on offense AND DEFESNE for some iso shooting pg who doesn't play **** for defense. We've had plenty of them and there are plenty of them in the league. Kyrie ain't leading nobody to a championship.

To Cavs: Porzingis + Noah + Lee + Exum

To Jazz: Love + Shump + Felder

To Knicks: Irving + Favors + J. Johnson + Cavs next 1st + Jazz 2018 1st (protected)

Knicks build around Irving, re-signed Favors, and *wince* THJ. Favors cap hold is reasonable and after dumping contracts (Melo in follow up trade), Knicks would have one offseason prior to Irving bolt or re-sign offseason, to attract another marquee FA.

Or 4 team it...

To Cavs: Porzingis + Noah + Lee + Exum + Anderson

To Rockets: Melo

To Jazz: Love + Shump + Felder

To Knicks: Irving + Favors + J. Johnson + NG players needed from Rockets for Salary Match of Melo + Cavs next 1st + Jazz 2018 1st (protected) + Rockets next 1st

Knicks aren't building around ISO shooting pg no defense irving. I like how some of you keep pushing that.

The Knicks have a proven track record of doing the right thing.

I think the Cavs will get a better offer than having to eat Noahs contract to get KP, however I wouldn't put it past them to do it, if they can unload Shumpert & or Thompson in a separate deal, to balance the roster, and lower the tax burden while still remaining a contender. But all that seems risky & unlikely.
Just getting KP as good as he is doesn't solve their back court issues minus KI. And it doesn't make them better defensively on the perimeter.

No need to trade TT if Porz and Love are the other bigs. He can share the court with either of them. Neither Porzingis nor Love are durable players and they don't play a ton of minutes. Porzingis is on a rookie deal for two more years.

If the Cavs make a move for DeAndre Jordan, then TT has to be dealt.

CLE has interest in Porzingis in the same way that I have interest in Jessica Alba. Its just not realistic.

I had lunch with Kyrie the other day as well. I can tweet it to make it official

Joining a lottery team with the departure of Porzingis, Noah and Melo, what's the point Kyrie?

Its highly unlikely because the Knicks kindly say no. Plus from all accounts there is no longer a rift between Knicks and Porz. He just said he wants to stay in NY his entire career.

I don't believe the Cavs would even consider taking back Noah's contract without already having another trade lined up for Bledsoe or similar so it would have to have been NY's idea if there was any legitimacy to any of this. I doubt it, but as far as KP and NY yeah that's what I thought too that he had said he wants to stay there, but the report from Woj said quote: "Porzingis remains distant from the organization".
Anyway, I have no interest in getting KP for what we would have to take back in garbage contracts when we already are trying to unload some.

Sounds good to me.

of course it does. So you think the Cavs would take back 2 garbage contracts to get KP and Exum and give up their own 2018 pick when their goal is to remain a contender ( which this trade does not do because you are also shipping out KLove) and plan for the future (which this trade does in part, but at too much of a cost) and sacrifice a pick? no way on earth even KI's flat one.

I love watching this thread and how people are coming up with multi-team/ridiculously bad (for the other team) trades in order to get Lebron what he wants. The power isn't with the Cavs and the closer the season gets, the less and less power they get. I know that sounds odd with Kyrie having a min 2 years left, but bridges have been burned pretty badly this off season, and if I'm the owner, I really don't want to have to deal with Lebron/Kyrie talk at every practice, after every loss, at every post game, everyday on First take, or Shannon going "now Skiiiup, unc needs to get on board with the king of Akron, born on....." every **** day.

If he wants to keep Lebron, and at this stage only he knows for sure what he wants to do, then keeping around one of a handful of guys to ever stand up for himself against LBJ, then keeping Kyrie around is perhaps not the best way to go about it.

Yes,KP has missed 26 games in 2 seasons but his only injury was a sprained ankle last season. Most others were just listed as "sore____"

Looks like it's more to do with getting rest than being non-durable.

There's no coming back after a trade demand imo. Would you go to war with someone who privately told you they want to fight for the other side? Nearly impossible to view them the same way or rely on them to have your back. Cavs will either wait till the 14th when the player pool opens up a bit more or move him before camp . He would likely be deactivated until they found a trade that worked for both parties that way he isnt a cancer and also mitigates injury risk before moving him. Remember these guys are like investment stocks to alot of these owners so they will take their time.

Would Ny do Zinger if it also meant they added Noah, while getting both Kyrie and Love? Would a deal around those 4 with obviously more added from both be possible?
