I agree, if they trade kp picks and frank for irving i would be done with this franchise for good.

Thay would be franchise malpractice.

That's not the trade...if done now.
The trade is simply KP and Noah(no picks or other young players) for Irving.

Willy
Melo
Lee
Frank/Timmy
Irving

yuck. let kyrie go to the suns or a team like that. he doesn't have an NTC, so i hope he gets traded to a team he doesn't want to re-sign with. then he can sign with us in 2 years when we're ready to compete at a higher level WITH KP

You never received an elite talent back though.

Kyrie will take this team from Melo. No questions will be asked. Melo ain't gonna pass a thing. Kyrie is simply going to take it.

I'd love Kyrie, but I'd prefer to wait till 2019 & pair him with KP, along with two top 10 picks Frank WHG THJ around them. Maybe Ferguson too if OKC ends up being the trade partner & any other young guy we get in a deal.

That's a potential contending roster for the 2020's. We just have to be patient for once.

This isn't the same scenario as the Melo deal. The guys we gave up were role players. I had little issue with sending those dudes who didn't show up every night to Denver.

KP is a top 5 25 & under prospect in the NBA. We need to build with & around him, not use him to get a another building block. This guy is going to take a huge leap now that he's unshackled from the antiquated system that senile egomaniac was trying to force on this organization.

The worst thing Perry could do is to try to undo the enormous damage PJax had done, quickly. It's going to take time & I'm fine with that.

That's fair, but one thing we don't want is to see more of what we saw last year and watch stock drop.

Nah. Plus I'm not his type

I like his game. That's it. Kyrie is a sniper and isn't afraid of big moments.

Yeah but aren't you curious how great can KP become? We pretty much know what Kyrie is and he will always be that Kyrie or worse if gets injured, but KP is scratching surface and his beard isn't even growing yet. Not that Kyrie is old, but is he really the man who can do the job? Also what are the odds that after witnessing for 2 years how drama is created and overblown in NY and under what microscope and sh8tstorm he will eventually live through, does he resign?

“[Knicks president] Steve Mills and [Knicks general manager] Scott Perry on the record were very clear that Kristaps was part of the future,’’ the source said in reference to comments made last month by both executives. “In all the discussions since then — there were other rumors before that Cleveland would want Kristaps — and it didn’t seem that [the Knicks] were interested at all in a conversation.’’

KOQ, Irving, RJ and Shump to Suns

Love, RJ, Frye and Cavs and Suns 1st to Knicks

Bledsoe, Melo, Tyson and Lee to Cavs

Suns saves 30M and gets Irving... Knicks saves a lot of money too and can flip Love elsewhere if he wont fit next to KP, while the Cavs would be more complete in that scenario for a season or two! And the Suns get

Tyson/TT
Melo/Green
LBJ/Korver
Lee/Smith
Bledsoe/DR

KP/Willy/Kornet
Love/Frye/RJ
LT/Beasley/Kuz
THJ/Baker/Dotson
Frank/Sessions/Randle

(Best possible tanking SL, top pick here we come)

Suns on the other side would add Irving while retaining Josh and Booker and offloading Bledsoe and Tyson

Irving and Love gone and they only get that poo poo package back? Tyson is over the hill. Lee is well...Lee, a journeyman. Melo can leave after next season, and Bledsoe constantly gets injured. They know Lebron is leaving, that's why they want young studs and probably a pick. No deal for Irving will not involve a young star on the rise and/or a first rounder.

Cavs don't want that bad deal. Melo will be gone and they're left with an injury prone Bledsoe? They want a young star player.

I am willing to let Noah go if we can get either Kyrie, LeBron or 2 firsts. See if you can work that into this trade.

I think he's going to have a huge season. So much of what held him back - a PG with blinders, running the triangle, etc - is out of the picture.

I think this season will be huge too. Last season he was scratching all star consideration even after having some bad games, a crappy pg, no good looks, and missing some games. KP playing crappy is 18ppg. We're going to see him be an AS this year for sure.

I remember you even voted for Failderon :rofl2:

The East just lost two of their top 5 players in George / Butler (other 3 Lebron Giannis Wall) IMO. Maybe Hayward takes one spot if he takes another leap. But KP could take a spot. I'm so over the top on this kid's potential if used correctly
