yeah. being in good shape hasn't been an issue for jo. does he have anything left in the legs is the real question.

and hopefully it's only whey protein in those guns now.

Fair enough

Still super annoying that we are gonna give up a high 2nd this year to phily of all teams

We need people to scout Noah, so we know if he can play, or if he can even still walk.

I hope he can come back in even an approximation of his previous shape - but I'm not counting on that. If he really can't play at all, isn't there some sort of medical retirement where he can get paid and we get cap space back? I don't know anything about that.

yeah. if he is deemed to have a career-ending injury and is willing to retire, then we can do the medical retirement. he still gets paid and the cap hit is removed. that's what miami is going for with bosh. minnesota with pekovic, etc.

I don't think Scott would ever do this, but maybe Phil would have had some tough guy come to finish him off to collect that medical retirement money.

2 of em from the willy trade, which is well worth it. not sure about the other two.

2018 second round draft pick to Philadelphia (swap, L.A. Clippers incoming)
Philadelphia will receive the more favorable of the L.A. Clippers' 2018 2nd round pick and New York's 2018 2nd round pick and New York will receive the less favorable of these two picks (via Philadelphia's right to swap L.A. Clippers for New York) [L.A. Clippers-Philadelphia, 2/20/2014; New York-Philadelphia, 10/27/2014]

2019 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
New York's 2019 2nd round pick to Philadelphia [New York-Philadelphia, 10/27/2014]

NEW YORK, October 27, 2014 –- New York Knickerbockers President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has traded forward Travis Outlaw to the Philadelphia 76ers for forward Arnett Moultrie. In addition, Philadelphia received a 2019 second-round draft selection and the option exchange 2018 second-round draft selections.

We actually get the LAC 2nd this year

(assuming there's will be worse than ours).

20 & 21 are for WHG, which like you said, was clearly worth it.

Please trade with OKC & bring back Ferguson / CHI 2nd. Please & thank you

Indirectly. The people we traded two of them to, ended up trading them to Philly. Two of them IIRC we traded for WillyG.

We've done well with undrafted guys tho, and if we REALLY wanted a guy, we'd make a trade or buy one (the $$$ you're allowed for picks increased with the new CBA IIRC).

A team that could use some of our spare parts is NOP. They have the twin towers. They have two competent PGs. Their 2/3 options are weak.

LFT for Ajinca / Jackson

Or

Lee for Ajinca/ QPon / Jackson

Get a decent PG prospect to grow with the youth movement and Ajinca expires in 2019

I doubt they'd also add Diallo but that would make this a big win IMO. Plus if we dump Lee that adds a significant number to our cap space.

Shorter contracts? Check
Prospects? Check
Assets? Doubt we could get a 2nd included
