Does anyone know if Cedevita will play in Euroleague this upcoming season?

It is fair to speak about non stellar performances also, Bosnia suffered a loss against Sweden yesterday. The whole team was not up to it, Musa shot badly from the field 4/10 (out of that 1/5 3pt). Was watching the game only with one eye, wasn't the prettiest game out there.

I still don't understand why no one here ever talks about Atic...he's a really talented player.

One of my best friends played with him and he said his head is fked up hard and that he always act like a (Please Use More Appropriate Word).
And we can already see that in some games more often.

He's 18 and a leader of a senior national team, plays with his nose broken and with feverishness, in defence they were double-teaming him, kicked and provoked him.
But what actually worries me is that they purposely let a right side open, they also realized that Musa always go left.

27-6-3-3-1 with 2 turnovers in 27 minutes on 8-15 shooting against Slovakia today
Bosnia-Armenia play on Sunday for direct qualification to 2019 World Championships. Musa at 18 is the youngest player in pre-qualifying, leading the tourney in PPG.... and has a great chance to carry his national team to 2019 World championships in 3 days

He's only 18; and super competitive, I don't see this "personality" that everyone else sees. He's a killer on the court and if he had any other kind of personality, he wouldn't be nearly as good as he is. His swagger on the court contributes to his crazy offensive ability
I think he'll be fine, considering he will be in the NBA soon, unfortunately for your friend. Lol

Nice player. He'll be very good in Euroleague for years to come. Unfortunately he just doesn't have the body for NBA. Not at his position anyway. 190 at 6'9? For comparison, Doncic is already close to 230 at 6'8 (or even shorter). Musa on the other hand just doesn't look like he has the frame which would allow him to put on some considerable muscle. He really looks like he could break in half at any second. I've been reading how incredibly hard Brandon Ingram has to work to put on muscle and weight so he can actually stay on the floor longer. And Ingram has a much more suitable NBA body type, not a hunched back like Musa has (and my granny). Still, nice player. I can see him having a really good career in Europe.

He's 13/30 for three in five games of those "pre-qualifiers". That's 43.3%. Most of his shots were off the dribble and from tough positions(actually he misses more ofen when he is wide open
).
From today game
When he was 15 - 16 years old he was seen as a guy who almost can't shoot at all, there were some comments about that even on this thread. What happened?

Re: Dzanan Musa - Bosnian sensation
I really agree with this analyse
Overview
Musa is an offensive talent who can score from three levels. The high scoring forward is a likely first round pick and potential lottery pick but has somewhat limited upside due to his lack of length and lack of big time athleticism.
Strengths
Smooth three point shot. Can get his shot off the dribble and is also an excellent catch and shoot player. He's a real sniper from downtown.
Has tight handles and is able to dribble through traffic and keep the ball low to the ground. Impressive for a 6-9 player.
Has good open court speed. Might not be a highlight reel dunker but he's got plenty of athleticism and can really get out on the break.
Uses ball fakes well to move the defense. Seems to always be one step ahead of the defense and keeping them off balance.
Shows an impressive ability to score off the bounce and is able to drive with either hand. Has some blow-by speed.
Anticipates the play well, whether it's reading the passing lanes or anticipating the rebound. Seems to always be in the right place at the right time.
Weaknesses
He's got below average length and good but not great athleticism.
His lack of length limits his defensive ability and his ability to compete for rebounds.
He's not much of a back to the basket player and doesn't mix it up in the lane.

Terrible comparison.... Sam Dekker? What the heck does his game have in common with Sam Dekker?

They literally have nothing in common. Sam Dekker has never been known as an elite scorer/ball handler who can who can carry a team and score from anywhere. That's just laziness. They play nothing alike.
Musa reminds me more of a less-athletic Paul Pierce. He has a "Kobe-like" game, which is pretty clear if you watch him play (not saying he's gonna be the next Kobe)....far from a Sam Dekker type of play-style. Lol

Re: Dzanan Musa - Bosnian sensation
I like analyse, not the comparasion.
As I said it, I remember when Musa was 14, 15 and 16 years old, how he played and how others saw him: 6'8'' PG who can't shoot.
And now he is seen as: 6'9'' SF who is a huge scorer and a shooter. While he went in two years from "will he ever learn to shoot at all" to "real sniper from downtown", hiss passing skills kinda went away, both from his game and from scouting observations. But remember, when he was younger he was such a good passer that people thought he will be PG in the future.

That behaviour reminds of a certain guy whose name also started with a D. It's not neccesarily something bad.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Musa had 21 points today and led his NT to a win in a do-or-die game against Armenia- Bosnia haven now made it to the European qualifiers for Fiba 2019
What a spectacular tournament for Musa. This kid is only 18

If he can play like this for the Cedevita in the next season he will be top 10 pick. But he always plays better for the national team than for the club.

Idk, I just watched this video and he looks pretty damn spectacular for Cedevita last season... I don't see how he won't play like this this season if he is a key player. I just hope he gets to be a central player for them

Re: Dzanan Musa - Bosnian sensation
He wasn't even in the starting five and he was far away from some really important role. While it could be he just wasn't good enough, there is a theory that they didn't want him to shine before he turns 18 and signs a professional contract with Cedevita(they had their reasons).
