Mitch just throws better on the move.

Mitch still needs some time I think the bigger issue is that Glennon doesnt look as though he is a good fit for the offense . Without a big target at receiver like Alshon this offense will need those rollouts to play off of the running game and thats not Glennons strength at all.

More TE sets would be better for Glennon.

They took the ball out of Money Mitch's hand tonight. Not enough snaps or throws.

Glennon sucks. He should have had 2 more picks. His accuracy is so bad. You put Money Mitch with the starters and we are a completely different team.

I think we have enough talent to make the playoffs this season. Our D is going to be scary good. So will our running game with Howard and Cohen. Glennon won't take us to the playoffs though. He's too inaccurate. Money Mitch can though. Defenses won't be able to stack the box against him.

Trubisky certainly has to clean up on some stuff, but with him at least there is upside.

To me it makes little sense to not give him a real shot in the preseason against better competition. Glennon is proving to be mediocre at best. He's just too limited and won't really transcend this team.

It seems like a wasted opportunity.

Or Bears should have signed Kaepernick instead of Glennon. He would have been cheaper, plus Kaep is also better.

Agree with most of the board. This doesn't look like more than a 6 win team and Trubisky has a much higher ceiling so might as well get him experience. Yet the coaching staff looks like they want to tank on purpose. Really need to stop assuming and give players reps that need them for experience or need them to prove they don't suck.

Granted it was against 2nd and 3rd stringers but Pace's rookie FA project from last season who we have heard whispers about... Roy Robertson Harris... Kid looked the part last night. #74 was flashing everywhere. He ended up with 2 sacks too.

Tarik Cohen is going to be special. He will break at least 3 big runs or screens for TDs this season.

Eddie Jackson looked really good in coverage and knows how to play the ball. He will be starting next to Demps... just a matter of time.

Bullard is finally doing what we all thought he would do... disrupt the line of scrimmage. I know he left the game but he def is playing well.

Thought Kyle Fuller flashed is aggressive athleticism lastnight. One bad pentalty. Looks like we finally have some decent depth at corner.

I dont' think Shaheen got any snaps with the 1s. That is stupid. Play the kid. Zach Miller won't make it through the season and we will need Shaheen. He's a big target that maybe Glennon can actually hit too. Sims looked good in his catch, broken tackle, and turn up the field. He looked fast and strong on that play.

Cam Meredith looks like a legit NFL WR. He was open alot. He just couldn't get the ball to him on time in the right spot. I bet Money Mitch could get Meredith into the pro bowl... shoot Barkley almost did last season and now he is 3rd string in SF.

PACE NEEDS TO SACK UP and make Fox play Money Mitch with the 1s. I'd start Money Mitch next game and give a couple series with the 1s to see what he can do. We all know what Glennon can't do. Play Glennon with the 2s... maybe it will help his confidence:)))

At this point, Pace is calling the shot on when to play Trubisky. That much is obvious to me.

Mitch is not where he needs to be yet in taking snaps under center for him to get more time with the ones. I would say let him and Shaw play all of game 4 and then move him to #2 and let him get #2 reps the first couple of weeks of the season in case Glennon folds. The Bears first team offense will be large doses of under center play as we feed Howard and Im no sure Mitch is there yet .

Trubisky does not need to be thrown into the first half of the Bears schedule which is brutal. The 2nd half of the season is a more reasonable time table if Glennon isn't getting it done. Let Mitch get more of a mastery of the offense and his footwork.

Of the big 4 rookie QBs, the one with the least chance of playing with the #1's is MT. Reason being the other teams came into the season looking for Mr right now at the QB spot. Bears came in looking to develop.

This is probably the reasoning. It's piss poor though. Glennon sucks and teams will stack the box. We won't be able to move the ball.

Give Money Mitch the keys. He will make less mistakes than Glennon and do way more with the offense.

That's all that needs to happen. Play Mitch in game 3 or 4 now to get him good reps. Glennon can get majoroty of the other game.

Then when the season starts, you can just go back with Glennon and find out if Trubisky is ready to be the backup. Wasting a roster spot on Sanchez then doesn't make sense.

To me, the schedule doesn't matter. The Bears are all in on Trubisky. If he's your guy, **** the schedule and play him. We've seen nothing of Glennon to believe he's a starting QB in the NFL. We've only been told by Fox and Pace that he is one. Glennon was marginally better than his first outing, but still made some awful throws.

Meanwhile, we actually see why Trubisky is coveted highly. Through two preseason games, he is far and ahead the best QB on the roster.
