From last year, Beverly is very tenacious, even when playing the local park children, lol

How could any NBA dad let his son have a shot like that though?

My guess is that Doc had very little / nothing to do with Austin's development as a prep and since he was frying guys since 13U, just made no sense for him or anyone to change it.
When you think about it, it defies logic how he's become such a good 3 point shooter in the league. He's virtually deadeye on spot ups lol

He has tweaked his shot, his elbow is in more, and he does not hitch like he used to, it's more one motion, but rich dad should certainly have gotten him a private shooting coach and saved his the shooting struggles he had since highschool. It's not like everyone didn't know his shooting was questionable even in highschool.

well didn't austin once say something about his dad not really being as close to him as people thought?
maybe he wasn't just rich dad, but rich and and not really there dad, which is very likely given doc has been an NBA lifer.

Re: Clipper Multimedia Thread
btw i wanna give some credit to redick for helping austin with his shot. there was a certain point in time where austin mentioned working a bit with JJ to fix a few things and ever since then he's looked great.
that said i know some of you guys wanna keep riding that nepotism train so the alternative reality for you guys is that doc forced JJ to coach austin day and night, as well as give him half his salary. and then obviously he forced him to leave town so austin could get that starting SG spot.
i'm the new michael eaves what's up

Kellerman took 57 seconds to ask a question. Between him and Stephen A, it's a miracle West got a word in
it gave me a tingle to hear The Logo talk about the Clippers as "we"

It's great to see Natalie rise up the ranks, I remember first hearing about her in the video room all those years ago. Hopefully she sticks around and makes it to the main bench.
P.S. Madelyn Burke hype!

LA CLIPPERS BEST OFFENSIVE YEAR EVER!!!???!!!

Inside the Numbers: 2017-18 season was all about offense for Clippers
by Clippers Digital
Posted: May 08, 2018
LOS ANGELES — Dating back to last summer, the Clippers have undergone a roster overhaul, welcoming several new faces to the organization.
And over the course of the 2017-18 season, injuries played a role in just how much those new faces – and the already established faces – took the court.
But despite the roster transition and bevy of injuries, surprisingly, the one thing that remained consistent all season was the Clippers’ offense.
In fact, LA had arguably one of the best offensive seasons in the history of the franchise, led by breakout years from veterans Lou Williams, Tobias Harris, Austin Rivers and others.
Check out some of the most telling stats from the Clippers’ 2017-18 season:
[That last one makes no sense if everyone played 82 games, which they did.]

In fact, LA had arguably one of the best offensive seasons in the history of the franchise, led by breakout years from veterans Lou Williams, Tobias Harris, Austin Rivers and others.
Check out some of the most telling stats from the Clippers’ 2017-18 season:
- 108
Offensive output was directly correlated to the Clippers’ success. When LA scored 108 points or more, it was 34-13. When it scored 107 or less, the team was 8-27.
47.1
The Clippers finished the season ninth in the NBA in field goal percentage (47.1) and were one of only 10 teams to shoot better than 47 percent on the season. The eight teams that finished above them – Golden State, New Orleans, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Cleveland, Indiana, Toronto and Philadelphia – are all playoff teams.
107.7
The Clippers and Pelicans tied for eighth in the NBA in offensive rating (107.7) in the regular season.
8,937
LA finished the season ninth in the league in total points scored (8,937).
The Clippers’ 8,937 points scored is the most in a single season since 1983-84 (San Diego Clippers: 9,077) and the most points in a season since the team arrived in LA.
109.0
The Clippers finished ninth in the NBA in points per game (109.0) and were one of only nine teams to average at least 109 points.
LA’s average of 109 PPG is the team's highest since the 1983-84 season, when they averaged 110.7 points per game as the San Diego Clippers. It is the highest points per game average since the team arrived in LA.
4,282
LA finished second in the NBA in points in the paint (4,282) and points in the paint per game (52.2).
The Clippers were one of three teams with at least 4,200 points in paint and 50+ points in the paint per game.
1,139
LA finished fourth in second chance points (1,139) and second chance points per game (13.9) in the NBA.
[That last one makes no sense if everyone played 82 games, which they did.]
