Dwyane Wade's children have reportedly moved back to south Florida to attend school.

Ths is really interesting to me. Wade would be a good replacement for Kyrie in CLE. Even at his age Wades D is probably better than Kyries. Wade may not be able to handle the minutes, but for the playoffs Wade would be great. What Wade doesn't bring is a consistent 3pt shot.

If they switch out Irving for DJ+ that team would be formidable, and would have a chance even after LBJ leaves, since Love and DJ would both have deals for an extra year. Pick and Roll between DJ and Bron would be ridiculous, especially when you have Love as an outlet option on one side and Wade at the elbow on the opposite side with Smiths 3 ball in the corner. That would be very hard to guard.

So why go to MIA except to retire where he started? Hard to see MIA benching Dion after his contract, or Wade after his history.

Wade after his history? They didnt have an issue with his history with the team when they screwed him over in FA. I mean he was their star player, the lone brightside in a dark Heat time, helped talk Lebron into joining, took discounts, then as soon as Lebron left, Riley turned his back on Wade and lowballed the **** out of him. I mean you dont offer your star only $10M to stay when he has already done so much for you. $10M. Thats $5M less than what they gave Dragic. Thats $12M less than what they gave Whiteside. Riley didnt care about Wade then and made it clear, so i dont see why all of a sudden he would now (Except for the fact that now Bosh is gone as well and they need a name to put fans butts back in the seats).

Especially if Ainge didn't want to pay Thomas 25 to 30m - but is willing to pay Kyrie

that will mean no trade for the Suns - which isn't all that bad

You would think so, but remember, we were CONSTANTLY being told that they would also require a 1st (along with Jackson).

If Cleveland pulls this off, more power to them. But remember, Ainge doesnt make trades that are looked at as a loss. His ego dictates that the Celtics look like they dominated every trade, so who knows who will blink first.

With Thomas they get a terrific player on his prime that can replace Irving with guarantees.
With Brown or Tatum they get a tremendous prospect with All Star potential.
With a first round pick they get the must needed help for the future (with or without LeBron).

It has to include Crowder, Thomas and Brown or Tatum in the trade machine for the salaries to match. Irving and Brown or Tatum won't cut it

If I am the Cavs - I really like that of Crowder, Thomas and the young player - even if I do not get a draft pick.

If the Cavs get the Center, there goes the need for Chandler for Frye/Shumpert

Granted, Cavs are taking on a lot of players and only moving 1 - too bad they don't have assets for the Suns to take on Frye and RJ as with Crowder - those two are not needed

How is Bledsoe, Chriss, and the Miami picks not better than that?


This is really frustrating to watch other teams continually get better while the Suns flounder. Suns literally have only Booker and (hopefully) Jackson as players to build around. That's not good considering Ryan has had 5 drafts to fix this by now. Don't tell me Chriss is a building block (that's laughable). The (BS) timeline is not starting off very well at all.


No matter how many people want to respond and tell me I'm dumb still doesn't change the fact the Suns are nearing a decade of suck. And Ryan has had his fingers in 5 of those years.


So yeah I'm pissed the Suns are sitting on their hands (yet again). Would be Ryan a McDonough if we didn't sit on our butts, now would it.

I would be fine with signing Cousins in FA (not trading for him). Reason being you are only giving up money--not prospects, to add him, and he is young enough to be a key part of a rebuild. Also, we have to capitalize on our rookie contracts in the next 2 offseasons before Booker comes up for RFA, and I think Cousins is one of the few stars who is attainable and makes actual sense for us position-wise and age-wise.

I really thought Cousins would have been a great replacement for Amare, right after the WCF, but going to a bad young team in Sacramento without strong leadership set back his own leadership development. I think that the Suns should attempt to sign Cousins this year, even though he hasn't been a winner or good leader at all yet. IDK how the Pelicans will do or if the Suns can sign him, but I think they should attempt to get him and I think this should be the last year that they accept being bad.

Well, if LeBron bolts - he won't want to leave his little buddy there - so that's one thing

Two - who knows. Thomas might fit better with LeBron since he scores the ball with same defensive liability

Crowder is a good player who does help them now

The Miami picks - not sure - maybe one of the picks is the Brooklyn pick
