Okay. That's a little better.
Nets pick makes it a decent trade for CLE

Thomas, Crowder, and a 1st? I guess that makes sense for Boston, but it seems steep as I don't really think Kyrie is worth the hype.

Remember that 1st round pick isn't guaranteed to be a 1st pick either. I really think Celtics got the better deal, which really sucks...

If the Nets get the 8th seed, then this turns into a really good deal for Boston.
In other news, Every Celtics fan is now rooting for a D'angelo Russell breakout season.

I disagree
I don't see the cavs trading him anytime soon. Certainly not before the season starts
Can you see it now?
I was wrong
Very wrong
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team
Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

Trade depends on how well the Nets do. If that's a top 3 pick then I think Celtics got owned.

Re: Around the NBA VIII
For me, this is an amazing trade for the Celtics and it looks like the C's are officially back.
LeBron goes to Lakers in FA. Thomas max out in CLE and they still have a star. Boston vs Lakers comes back. Win, win, win.

Good trade for the Celtics. They have 516 lottery picks over the next two drafts, don't need Nets' pick.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

I have no problem being wrong.
I'll openly admit it when proved wrong. I was wrong here. Dead wrong. 100% wrong.
But that doesn't mean I still don't think that the cavs made a mistake in trading him

Re: Around the NBA VIII
Celtics messed up big time this summer.
They had the #1 pick in the draft and they could have selected Lonzo Ball. Then since they wouldn't have needed a PG, they could have used the Kyrie trade pieces to get Butler. CHI got much less for him than CLE just got.
Ball/Butler/Hayward/Horford would have been pretty strong.
Danny Ainge **** up, and I could not be happier.

Cleveland got stronger for next season and beyond. Great trade for them and I'm happy for IT. Going from being the 60th pick and biggest underdog to NBA finals with LeBron and against the Warriors. He deserves it.

If I'm Philly... I'm seeing this as an opportunity and making a big move here. Portland needs to shed some $$$... McCollum or Lillard needs to go to the 76ers.
