LOL.

Good luck to them. That pick won't be in the top 10.

I can certainly deal with Cavs fans better than Celtics fans.

But seriously, trading away Crowder, Bradley and IT? That's their core that turned things around. Do they think chemistry isn't a thing? There starting 5 is going to be Kyrie/Smart/Hayward/Morris/Horford. Its a good starting 5, but its a completely new starting 5. The old one got the first seed...Why break that up? **** dumb.

I agree, this is kinda nuts how they just turned over a 1st seeded roster like this. That roster does look better on paper, and they do have plenty of time to get acclimated with each other and base on talent alone they should at least be the 3rd seed this season. So a lot of the chemistry building will be done during the season.

Still, I feel that Cleveland got a really good deal here.

Boston doesn't want to have to pay IT next off season, he wants nothing less than the max. This is a terrific deal for the Cavs, Crowder is a beast and now he's next to LeBron, and their getting a top pick , I think Lebron might want to stay now. I'd much rather the Cavs have our pick than the Celtics, their fans don't deserve it.

Boston fans spent all summer talking about how horrible we would be and that we would be worst than last year.

Now suddenly they're all saying we won't be bottom 5.

LMFAO. I can't deal with this.

Suddenly hoping that we win 20 games again. Just to piss off the Boston fans.

I find it hilarious that the Celtic's fans who guaranteed that the Nets were going to suck this year are rooting and praying for the Nets to win.

It's turned in to a win win season. If they end up as a bottom 5 team, you can laugh at the Celtics for giving up the pick. If they end up winning more than people expect, then that means the young guys have improved a lot. And you know what ever happens, that they will be playing their hearts out and the threes will be flying. Can't wait for the season to start.

You can't make this up. These dudes got excited when we traded Lopez away...now all of a sudden we're going to be whipping ass left and right?

I agree with them that we're not going to suck. But they're trying to convince themselves that they didn't give up too much for Irving and its pathetic.

Let's call it what it is:

D'Lo / Dinwiddie
LeVert / Whitehead
Crabbe / Carroll
RHJ / Booker
Allen / Mozgov

is the lineup that the Nets likely finish the season with. I may be wrong, but Lin & Kilpatrick feel like the odd guys out

Starting five is probably Lin/Russell/Crabbe/Hollis-Jefferson/Mozgov

The Nets have some good options now. I was looking over the lineups of the bottom half of the East and I was surprised to notice that Brooklyn, man for man, isn't nearly as bad as people think. Brooklyn is significantly better than Chicago and Atlanta, IMO. The Pacers and Magic have some talent, but it's more mixed-matched parts. If the Knicks get rid of Carmelo without getting a now piece of equal value, they'll be behind Brooklyn too. The Nets just need to sign a legitimate NBA level PF or Center for depth, and they'll be much better than last year. If they get that, I can't see Brooklyn finishing behind any of those teams, if they are healthy.

There is indeed a lot of potential on this roster.

If all or most of the bigs play OK, the depth isn't a problem IMO. We could use a more offensively talented big tho.

Wow, IT averaged more points (4?) than Kyrie, they aren't that far apart.

They're treating our pick as a low pick it seems

The team won 20 games last year, in the summer traded one of if not their best players. There's no rush to be good everyone knows our 1st rd pick is Cleveland's but they'll have a 1st round pick bc they took on 2 years/$30 million in the DMC trade and at least 1 second round pick if not 2. Indiana owes them a pick for the Thad Young trade.

There's some new faces on the team that will play a big role in the future in DLo and Crabbe but both are young and will grow here.

On paper they're deep with guards and forwards it will be an exciting team to watch for sure.

Even though Boston won much respect for how they came out to punk the Gazebo Nazis, this is something I definitely see happening.

should be an interesting team to see in action. i don't mind a "super team" in the east, we need to face good opponents. beating eastern conference trash isn't going to cut it development wise.
