Celtics will likely be the worst defensive team in the NBA by a wide margin next season.

Sixers will likely be the best. At least in the East.

Wow! The Cavs got the BKN pick too! Great deal for Cleveland, and a heavy price for Boston, but could be a great deal for them too.

Wow!

Wait a sec. do we know that the BKN pick is unprotected? I don't see that on Twitter yet.

EDIT: I now see it reported by Woj on espn as unprotected.

It's so unprotected that Trojan is offering to sponsor the trade

My friends are relatively same sized that things get boring when we play man to man then defense just switch screens. When that happen, the faster more athletic teams would turn up the pace and would make it tough for the other team to keep up. Haha sorry i hope u know what i mean

As long as I play half court I'm good otherwise I need a minutes restrictions. The only reason I'm decent is because I'm 6'3 and semi coordinated lol.

Try losing weight haha or maybe doing pool exercise like okafor

Lol please don't compare me to Okafor. That's an insult to my mediocre skill.

Boston fans are adorable
If the Brooklyn pick is 8-10, which the odds suggest it will be, then it's a good trade for us. If it turns out to be top 5 which is unlikely then it's a bad trade. Also comes down to how bad ITs hip is.

Also ppl saying kyries knees aren't good. Anyone know anything about that?

Probably the most emotional fanbase IMO

It is ok for the celtics to trade the BKN pick. They haven't drafted anyone worthwhile with any of the BKN picks anyway.

Boston's whole future now depends on Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Wow the Celtics got hosed.

I can't believe they helped the team that rioted them in the playoffs that much. Kyrie and Isiah are a wash, the rest they got is a bathtub full of gravy.

The Celtics have to be crying really, horrible trade for them. Gotta love Ainge.....idiot.

Wow, I'm shocked Ainge did that. Boston actually got worse on the floor this year I think, and coughed up an elite pick while doing it.

Really, Boston basically just cashed in their chips right here. They're riding with this core + the Lakers/Kings pick? That's the grand finale? Really, never going to win a title unless Tatum turns out to be a superstar or something.

Well Irving is only 25 and Hayward is 27. They have a pretty great future. That's two allstars coming into their prime, and Tatum could turn into another one.

They don't have anyone with the talent of Embiid OR Simmons though so if we can be healthy we will be better than them at some point.

They need a big man. Hell, in retrospect they should have traded for Noel. Smart for Noel would have been good for both teams.

Can't wait until Jaylen Brown is a throw-in in some ho-hum trade two years from now. The guy absolutely sucks.

And I can't wait to troll about it just like I did when Lakers fans were so fired up about about me bashing the great De'Angelo Russell and he ended up being given away just to dump a contract. Then the great Magic Johnson bashed him on the way out the door.

Life can be so amazing sometimes, can't it? 8-)

Nobody is talking about the haul Cleveland made

If you see what Paul George and Cousins were worth, they got insane value back for Irving

IT is almost is a very good offensive player to me, will fit as well.

But they also got Crowder and the BKN pick! Wow

Kyrie is less than 50% to resign IMO. And Ainge should have accounted for that risk in the price he paid. But he definitely didn't. We may not care, but Kyrie did have a list, and Boston wasn't on it. So after two years Boston could very well end up with: 29 year old Hayward and 33 year old Horford and two blah guys winding down their rookie deals and a 9 pick from Sacramento. After all the assets Danny's been hoarding for years.

Well they did say Boston was on his list of teams cause of some connection with Kyrie's family

Least thats the report I heard, and they said they had no doubt they could resign him.

Either way it doesn't matter, long term it might work out, but this season they definitely took a hit cause they just kissed the #1 seed in the playoffs goodbye.
