Bagley has no shot at been better at handling the ball than Griffin, off guys 6'8 or taller only LeBron comes to mind as a guy that is actually better handling the ball than Blake.

Not good at changing directions? WTF? have you seen Griffin's body control?

Where do you see that high ceiling with Tatum and Josh?

sorry not really contesting any point in particular, just adding durant and possibly paul george or giannis as taller players being better at dribbling than griffin. either way it's a very tall order for bagley to be a better ball handler than griffin.

Those guys have longer strides and are better at getting where they want to, quicker than Blake in general, shiftier more flexible, but technique wise I dont think they are better ball handlres

This to me is reminiscent of how nobody would put Westbrook too high on the list of the best ball handlers in the league because his size/explosiveness is such that he often can get past defenders using relatively simple moves (e.g go hard one way and if the defender overplays that cross back over). If that doesn't make him a good ball handler the difference is mostly semantic to me; I mean, what's the point of dribbling the basketball if not to get where you want to on the court?

As for Bagley, I'd say he's at a very good point with his handle compared to where the other players mentioned were at age 18; all of them have improved their ball handling skills substantially since getting to the NBA.
