I feel like KP needs the post game as insurance for if there's a smaller player on him, or if there's a post game opportunity. The handles are really important. He'll be faster than any big man, and have the ability to post up any small player. Right now, he's just able to out speed any big.

KP needs a solid post game. I'm sure Janis will help him develop that.

http://nypost.com/2017/08/23/kristaps-porzingis-pursuit-of-18-year-old-model-isnt-going-well/

Kristaps Porzingis knows whom he wants.

Three months after sliding into the DMs of Croatian model Ines Nikic on Instagram, the 7-foot-3 center made a play for the social media stunner once again, weeks after the brunette bombshell turned 18.

“Why does it matters to you that much,” Nikic asked Porzingis about his request for a follow.

“Its a matter of life or death,” he replied.

Though Nikic said she would honor the 22-year-old unicorn’s request, Porzingis didn’t seem convinced.

“I guess u want me to die huh?”

Despite his pleading, Nikic has yet to follow the Knicks superstar on Instagram. It appears she also subtly shaded him with the caption, “Porzingod tryna smash,” on Aug. 14.

Porzingis, who is preparing for the EuroBasket tournament with Latvia, pumped the brakes on his pursuit of Nikic in May after discovering she was only 17 at the time. She later tagged Porzingis in a comment while kissing another man.

“Kristaps who? Are you sleeping peacefully, Kristaps Porzingis?” Nikic wrote.

This isn’t the first time Porzingis has been caught flirting with models online. In February, he eyed up Johnny Manziel’s rumored ex, Abigail Ratchford, on Instagram. She replied to his comment with a set of emoji eyes and a kiss.

Forget the post game, someone teach him some pick up lines

Correct. As it stands now, teams can choose to put a SF on KP without suffering any negative consequences. He has to use his height to his advantage.

Absolutely. Porzingis needs to just play closer to the basket overall. If his plan is to play like a fulltime wing player on offense all the time, then his upside will be much more limited. He should be playing much closer to the basket much more often, shooting very good percentages (50%+) from the field. Everytime the opposing team puts a 6'7/6'8 guy on him, Kristaps needs to punish that with a made basket.

I disagree. I have no problem with KP being a guard against other big men, and being a big, if they put someone to limit his handles/speed on him. Both are equally important, in creating an unstoppable monster.

I'm more concerned with his overall efficiency being higher than just 50% from the field. If he's taking a good amount of 3s and hitting them at a good rate, his field goal rate might get dragged down, but the team will still benefit.

Kind a looks like Mugatu from Zoolander tbh.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.
