Specifics, my dude, don't be stingy with them.

Yes, I should've been more specific. My apologies. I forgot I was a dealing with a very meticulous user. One who carefully planned out a "totally reasonable awesome bigly" trade for Cleveland to receive $70 million in salaries and go $40 million over the tax line

I'm gonna skip the specifics just this time though and say the trade sucks and is invalid

I think they are going to cancel the trade.

Bucks might end up with Irving..

I’d rather we did a 3 way.. and traded Middleton or Brogdon/FRP for the Brooklyn pick (rather do this than pick up Kyrie - he’ll likely leave).
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

If our offer is true or something close to that I think in order of completing that Giannis needs to speak and connect with Kyrie first.
Kyrie, aside the bad destination commercially wise, is afraid of being the second fiddle again and with "stranger" Giannis in Milwaukee the danger is high. If Giannis says to him to form a clear duo Kyrie will reconsider. I doubt they(Cavs) could force him to come here otherwise because the Cavs and Lebron are drooling over Brogdon and Middleton. It's exactly what Lebron needs.

I hate that trade btw.

It would be funny if they backed out. And it might mean we're back in the mix.

i'd be excited for a kyrie trade if I had any confidence that Kidd could put a great defense around him

The Cavs would have to be even more short-sighted than they usually are to veto the trade. Of course I.T.'s hip is bad. Everybody knew that. I've had a badly torn labrum for years and that cartilage doesn't just heal itself. The Cavs still will not get a better offer unless the Bucks are even dumber than I feared. Take the pick and flip it for someone better and healthier than I.T. if you want more help this season.

If the Bucks do get involved, I hope to god it's to get that BK pick.

It looks like Kyrie wants to play for a good coach, therefore the Bucks are out.

Maybe the Cavs are doing some next level team sabotaging, veto the trade, sew discord in Boston, and then trade Kyrie for Brog/Mid.

I know BK has no incentive to tank, but does it matter? People said the same thing in the first few weeks last season and look what happened. They suck something fierce. Tanking means trading away your productive veterans or sitting them with vague injuries, but the Nets hardly have anyone like that to begin with and now they've traded Bogdonavic and Lopez. They still have a better chance of getting the #1 pick than anyone. I'd give up Mids and Brogdon for that chance, and I like them both very much. Would be nice to include Jabari instead of Brogdon though. Mids, Delly, and Jabari for I.T., Frye, Shumpert and the pick.

Cavs might not be done either way.

That one report on Twitter seemed to indicate IT's hip might need surgery and keep him out for the year. Whether that is Dan Gilbert posturing who knows.

But I think Horst needs to pick up the phone and call Cleveland as the backup plan here.

Agree. But this reminds me that we already had a high pick, which is infuriating.

If the Cavs go through with this deal predominantly for the Brooklyn pick Lebron is gonna be pissssssed.

That said if he is gone either way Cleveland might not care. It certainly would play into his hands PR-wise though.

If the trad gets voided I can only hope the Cavs jump on the Bucks deal.

Sorry but Kyrie/Giannis is pretty much Kyrie/Lebron lite at this point with the potential to improve. Make the deal and we're making a deep run this season and then simply hoping for one, (yes just one), of Jabari or Thon to turn into a legit #3 option to be a championship level team once GS starts eroding.
