Re: Would the magic trade hezonja?
Lol.... Can we please cut these 21 and 22 yo a little slack. Not everyone comes into the league taking it it by storm. As ive said.... If people are mad about trading moe harkless for pennies cuz he ended up starting for the blazers.....there will be a whole lot more back peddling with Mario if we rashly just trade him after 2 year of inconsistency in his play and the organization's handling of the team as a whole. If this is an evaluation year as Hammond them would put it..... Mario is probably one of the specimens under the microscope the most.... So he's not going anywhere unless its for some worth doing. Hes not getting traded because of the frustrations he has caused you'll in his short hilly career. Who is to say that 2 years from now.... He has not earned that 5th spot and we might be reupping on his contract to hold him as part of our core. Does Otto porter ring a bell?

WCS bandwagon was full at the time, I remember eventually winning Skin over from that other guy bandwagon (Stanley or Winslow, can't remember), even though he advocated him starting a thread.

You got your facts messed up. I started a thread advocating Kristaps Porzingis. I wanted a big very badly. It was big man heavy draft and I wanted KP, WCS, Turner...even Portis.... I despised the wings... especially because we had Oladipo, Fournier, Harris and Gordon (who I was an advocate for SF). Never saw ANY playing time for a rookie wing to even have a chance at growing into a starter. ...and I've been 100% right.
I feel bad that you think I wanted a wing after all the Vuc hate I've done. I'll have to bolster my hating efforts.

Yeah, it was KP, you're right.
But you've misunderstood my post, I'm saying right before the draft you've joined WCS bandwagon, which I was advocating at the time. I don't remember you hating on Vuc either, so either my memory don't serve me well, which might very well be true, or you need to up your game. Probably both.

The only time I joined the WCS bandwagon was when I thought KP was no longer a realistic get for us. But it was a toss up between WCS and Turner.
Fools Gold needs to go. Needs to get outta here. Is he a good player? Sure. But we are in the business of developing superstars and that isn't going to happen when you have Fools Gold chucking up midrange shots, acting like the Centerpiece of the team and acting like a sulky little bitch and creating disharmony in the lockerroom against anyone who threatens his status. Softnier needs to go too.

Whatttttt? Offensive centers that can't play offense aren't valuable?

You can probably do better than that, that's not hating unless you're a teenager. Anyway, I don't usually get too much into such discussions.
IMO, Vuc has been a bright side on defense past season and he indeed had a down year on offense. One of, if not the best contract beside Simmons, that we currently have (not counting rookies). Trade-wise him, Fournier and Ross are only good or decent contracts for trade.

If he's such a good contract why can't we trade him for something good?

none of our players have any value if you look in the T&T forum.

And this means exactly what? People need to wake up out of fantasy land and realize the T&T holds literally absolutely 0 reliability on players trade value.
Perfect example - Kyrie/Thomas trade.

Yeah... but it's a lot less biased than the Magic board. They may undervalue slightly but most on here overvalue (including me). Just the nature of the beast.

I was never a fan of drafting hezonja.his attitude was also a problem when he was in barcelona.
My draft favorites 2015 were Turner,Kaminsky and Portis

Re: Would the magic trade hezonja?
For the value where he was taken at, trading him for a late first rounder only 2 years after he was drafted is pretty horrid. He should at least be traded as a throw-in for a better player.

Eliminates bias as j-ragg said.
But more than that, it makes the person (popeye in this case) think about trade scenarios that would work for him. Sometimes people say stuff, but when they actually take time to put substance behind it, it all falls apart.

Not really. Fans are biased by definition. Professionals, or at least good ones, are not. Anyway, I'm not sure why are we discussing Vucevic here at all.
