I wouldn't either, I think Cavs should go with the Bucks offer.

They are wildly overinflating Kyrie's trade value based off what they hypothetically got from Boston (I.e. Had IT actually been 100% healthy). They aren't getting that from other teams. I was pushing the Mids, Brogdon, #1 deal and they also wanted Thon or Jabari in the trade.

I wouldn't do what's proposed and they want more? Yeah right. Perhaps we could throw in Giannis for good measure?

No need to give Giannis any reason for demanding his own trade or refusing to talk to the Bucks when his contract is up. Kyrie Irving will do just that, if he even resigns to stay in Milwaukee. Brogdon and Middleton compliment Giannis way more than Kyrie and they won't demand to run the team through themselves the same way this ego maniac will.
Trade the most intelligent and level headed back court in the NBA that will both continue to improve for a couple of years while keeping Gianni's happy for the Kim Kardashian of PGs who is what he is and who will leave this team in ruins after one season? No thanks..

So why do we still need guard help if this is true?

And if it doesn't work out... We trade Kyrie as an expiring next summer for Brooklyn's pick or McCollum or Wall/Beal/Porter or Conley or something... (assumimg their team sucks and panic)
A team will give a shot for expiring Kyrie just like the Pelicans got Cousins mid season giving up a young prospect, OKC offered Oladipo+Sabonis.
But this is not the reason I am doing this trade. I strongly believe both Giannis and Kyrie will improve and both going to discussed for MVP like the Westbrook and Durant duo.

The guy Giannis most resembles would've won 2 of 3 championships with kyire riding shotgun for all 3. Not to mention with a Kyrie that was not yet in his prime.
Kyrie and Giannis would be the perennial eastern conference team favourite.
I'd say Snell, vaughn, Jabari, Monroe, thon will be the equivalent to jr, shump, love, TT, frye in a year or two.

While I love the upside of this team to think that Vaughn, Snell, Jabari, or Thon will ever be as impactful as JR, Shumpert, Love, or TT is wishful thinking. Almost as much so as thinking that Giannis is already superior to Lebron and that Cleveland would have won with Giannis over Lebron. You are seriously **** all over Lebron's greatness right here.. and I am no fan of Lebron.
I pray and hope that Jabari can become the player he was expected to be, but to think that after blowing out two ACL's he will ever reach Kevin Love's level is unrealistic at this point.(see Derrick Rose) Thon could be that guy. But he could also turn out to be less impactful than TT. Snell could become as impactful as JR in his own way, or he could be who he is. He definitely doesn't have the athletic upside and scoring punch of JR, nor the potential to reach that level. Vaughn? Let's be real.
I honestly believe that 3 years of Brogdon, Middleton and Giannis growing together as a core will reap more benefits and better playoff records than a two year experiment of Kyrie Irving who will destroy the team's chemistry and all that we have built over the last few years. If you're ready to give the keys of the franchise over to an egotistical drama queen like Kyrie who demands to run the show all while alienating Giannis who just signed for less money than he potentially could have in order for them to build a better team around him then go for it. Have fun watching the **** show of Kyrie, Vaughn, Snell, Giannis, and Thon. Kyrie will refuse to pass the ball to Vaughn or Snell after watching them brick a couple of shots and instead will go for the Brandon Jennings superhero plays. Meanwhile Giannis will be furious as Kyrie blatantly passes him up possession after possession, until he has had enough and demands a trade after the season.
