just look at Ryu last night. got only 2 K and got 14 ground balls to win the game. with all the games he either lost or had no decision while going K/inning the last few weeks.

man the race for the 4th starter in post season is insane.

Hill nearly had a perfect game

followed by Ryu's 2K 14 ground ball W

and Maeken is throwing 1 hit game past quality start.

I have actually been wondering about Yaisel Sierra since he was supposed to be fast-tracked as a reliever. Nosler actually asks a fair question on who is more deserving of a call-up: Walker Buehler or Wilmer Font? Buehler is obviously the crowd favorite but Font has actually exceedingly excelled in the role of reliever.

we better rest Seager until a week before the playoffs, relieving him of all duties other than pinch hitting. hurting your elbow on a throw is automatic risk for a TJS. if he is out, there goes our chances in playoffs.

play Taylor at his natural position of SS for the next month, have him continue to lead off. Turner and Bellinger should stay in their respective positions in the field, but flip them in the batting order. then, let's move Puig into the 2 hole.

R SS Taylor
R RF Puig
L 1B Bellinger
R 3B Turner
L LF Granderson
S C Grandal
L/R CF platoon Joc/****
L/R 2B platoon Utley/Forsythe

run this lineup for the next 3 weeks or so, hope Seager can come back in full health. give everyone else as much rest as needed, gotta have a healthy roster and run out the best lineup we have come October/November.

This isn't the end of the world, but this is a certified slump

And in my eyes makes bellinger a strong MVP candidate

I thought we were headed somewhere with Rich Hill with the no hitter and now I'm of the mind that he is just a wild card in the playoffs. He may be nails, he may not be but I am far from trusting him at this point.
