We REALLY need Sullinger. I would be happy if this happens.
Its not that hes that great of a player. But we desperately need someone with his height. I'm not comfortable with out frontline currently.
We could get murdered on the boards.

Sully / Allen could be a very nice tandem. His skill set is similar to Boris Diaw.

Wouldn't be my first choice but he's young and has proven can play at NBA level. Just needs to slim down a little more and he could fit nicely for this year.

Oh yeah if he doesn't work out here, can we ship him to the Giants? He can't be worst than Flowers on the O-Line.

It'll be nice to have another C. Allen is growing on me but He's still not nba ready. I don't mind giving Allen like 15 mpg, but you're only getting, like 25 from mosgov. We need another C so I like the idea of adding Sullinger. Only problem is, I can't tell If he gained weight or not since his last public appearance, because it seems like might've.

What's our roster situation like at the moment? Do we have to cut someone for him?

Not a fan of Sullinger at all. He's been bad since his rookie year and he played in the perfect system. It's nice to see agents looking at us for a place to revive careers but I don't really see it. I'd rather take a chance on a true stretch big.

All the hope and expectation that people on this board have for Sullinger is the EXACTLY the same feeling we had on the Raptors board last year when we signed Sullinger. Celtics posters warned us that the Sullinger experiment would fail. It did.
Do not have any expectations at all. He has little motivation to improve or better his situation.
I hope it works out for you though.

I acknowledge and thank the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples of the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations for allowing me to live, work and play on their unceded traditional territories.

Since waiving Goodwin, I think we have one more roster spot to make 15, plus the two two-ways. Sullinger couldn't be worse than Bennett.

If Sully can become a decent stretch big with his size off the bench he would be a perfect match next to JA.
I think we needed a big so don't mind this low risk/decent reward move tbh.

That sets the bar extremely low.

I'll pass on Sullinger, we already have Acy and they're both similar. But Acy actually hustles and doesn't come with weight problems.

Didn't he break his foot 11 games into the season
It's hard to judge a guy who didn't play all year

Not sure how can he better his situation from a hospital bed and season long rehab.

He looks skinnier! Hey, there is hope.
He would be nice if Markinson think he could be fixed mentally and signed to a small contract.
Just to add depth and a change of pace off the bench with his low post scoring and rebounding.
He is talented and not old
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

Not that similar actually. Acy is a 3&D hustle guy. Sully is a skilled low post/rebounder, he is also way bigger.
