Just think of a Boston roster:
PF: Tatum
SF: Hayward
C: Noel
PG: Irving
SG: Smart

Now, you have the weapons and muscle to take on Cleveland.

Wouldn't they prefer Horford over him? Also, I still don't get how they could lose Bradley! The level of defense Crowder and Bradley bring to the table is worth a lot of money. Would anyone consider Smart the better player?

I'd have gone

Bradley
Hayward
Crowder
Tatum
Horford

...just to see where they could go. That way they could have preserved the picks. It's insane that they missed out on Butler.

No I don't. I think Boston would dump Horford in a minute men. Boston thought they were signing the Horford of 5-6 seasons ago. Instead they got a guy who is often injured, soft interior defense, and doesn't use his size and muscle; something they don't need.

They had to dump Bradley to make room for Hayward, the coach's boy.

Another deal where someone gets an asset in a salary dump.

Bulls Acquire Quincy Pondexter, 2nd Round Pick From Pelicans
AUG 31, 2017 5:44 PM

The Chicago Bulls are finalizing a deal to acquire Quincy Pondexter and a second round pick from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Pondexter has been injured during the past two seasons.

The Pelicans are creating a roster spot and dropping below the hard cap in unloading Pondexter.

With Solomon Hill likely out for the season, the Pelicans need to find healthy wings. The Pelicans have interest in signing Dante Cunningham

for NOP, here's a trade i threw out there previously:

LFT for Ajinca Jackson

Ajinca expires in 2019. Jackson is another young guy to add to this core. The fact he plays PG is icing on the cake. I would do this deal in a heartbeat but I'm almost certain this FO would not.

Just came across this super cruel story about Bulls coaches thinking Cameron Payne couldn't even play at NBA level only two practices after Foreman acquired him...

The Ball family is doing that for the shock value attention, and it definitely is working.

Here's hoping Demarcus Cousins elbows him so hard, Lonzo Ball's eyelash extensions fall off.

Luke Kornet aka Michael Scott

Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Haha thanks. Glad to know he's got more sense than I first thought. He still doesn't look that large, but I thought he was fine in SL (after the first game, when he couldn't shoot).
