Do they even know where these countries are located and how far from each other? to give the sense of an event, it would be better to be held in one country or lets say in two neighbour countries. anyway apart from that, as a turkish, this is by far the worst squad of ours i have ever seen in a championship.

FIBA let four countries organize the event because of mounting expenses. Four groups in four different countries. But the main part of Eurobasket will be played in Istanbul, so its not a big deal.

Yeah, really bad but the game was still within reach. Probably the worst kind of game. You know you are going to lose after 5 minutes but you still hope you'll win and then you get mad when you don't

Why Marjanovic was sitting like whole 4th? Made no sense.

Is it me or were the referees biased towards Russians? We got 2 techs and were chopped every time we step into the paint...

Damn... could be an exceptionally good (shooting) game, but that guy's overall offensive skills look incredibly smooth.

Because Djordjevic uses group stage as nothing more than a preliminary stage where he tries out things. It was the same in 2014 and 2016. In both tournaments we had 2:3 in a group stage and made the final. This year we aren't on that level (obviously) but it appears that he's doing the same now

@referees
Nah, they just suck in this whole tournament

Dragic single handedly killing Finland in 1st half.
24 points (2/3 for 3, 5/6 for 2, 8/9 FT), 4 ast, 3 reb, 2 steals in 15:52 min

Markkanen looks so smooth from distance.

Man, I feel like a moron doubting Dragic before tournament. Guy is underrated Euro legend.

It was his best game I have ever seen, thats for sure. I am still very skeptical about him and the NBA.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Wilson, Huff, Murphy, Lee. How can they all play for Finland?

Dragic disappeared in 2nd, Doncic was nonexistent and Randolph played really bad, had a game winning steal and dunk, but should really just run the time out

In interview for Slovenian TV Dragic said he was dead tired and could barely stand. But playing 1st half good and dissapearing in 2nd is almost his speciality... Agree on all points.

Randolph is unreliable on offense, but his defense is great. He is hustling like a mad man so far, which is funny, because you wouldn't expect that from naturalized player (at least stereotypically)

Because Murphy, Huff and Lee all hold Finnish citizenship from birth.

Gerald Lee Sr (Gerald Lee's father) played in Finland for 24 years and even gained citizenship and played for the National team. Gerald Lee Jr was born in Finland and lived there until he was 19 when he started his collegiate career.

Leon Huff (Shawn Huff's father) played basketball in Finland and after he retired as a player he managed basketball teams in Finland. Shawn Huff was also born in Finland and lived there until he was 20 when he started his collegiate career.

Erik Murphy (and his brother Alex) have an American father and a Finnish mother. His father is Jay Murphy who played a bit for the Clippers and the Bullets back in the late 80s while his mother, Päivi, played for Finland's women's basketball NT for 6 years.

Every single one of them has every right to hold Finnish citizenship since they were either born there or had at least one Finnish parents (and I think that in Huff's and Lee's case they were both born there and had at least one Finnish parent).

Finland's Wilson is also hustling like crazy.
