LOL

Seriously, the English language is not rich enough in swearwords to translate this
Just think of the most offensive and funny cursing you can imagine, and multiply by 3 :D

Il try to translate by bypassing profanity lol.

You fa gg ots, you ruined us with all the bullshi t you have done.
You bastrdas/scum ( mounopano actually means something way worse as a word but in here it got a different meaning) If you let our Giannhs play we wouldve fuked everyone this year (in Eurobasket)

After Bucks reply he says something the line of **** off.

See, that wasn't so hard.

Hilarious, scathing profanity never really translates though, does it? Just way too cultural.

I never really thought of English as being profanity-deficient, but I guess I could see how it could be. We don't tend to go into the gory details with our profanity like other languages seem to do. And we have basically 3 or 4 go-to curses that probably account for 98% of our swearing. Which is weird, considering the melting pot thing we got going on here. You'd think cultural syncretism would gift us with an immense wealth and endless diversity of profanity- a rich tapestry of disgusting things we can say to one another. It's a shame.

Man, Greek language for some reason got very VERY detailed cursing vocabulary. I have no clue why we do but trust me, it feels so refreshing swearing in different words, you can even get creative hahahaha.

I wonder, which countries swear a lot as casually as us, i know Aussies do but who else?

yeah Greek is scary detailed and funny on swearwords and draws from a tradition of a couple thousand years
I guess it's mostly the funny element that doesn't translate, you can be mean in any language. But you'd have to imagine the hooligan at the other end, who sounds serious and genuinely upset vending his frustration at the automated message

I buy Aussies because they're all basically subhuman criminal peasants, so cursing comes as naturally to them as eating it's own sh*t comes to a dog.
It's just who (or what, I should say) they are.

See? That was pretty good English-language insulting, and it only required one 'swear' word. Plus it's directed at Australians!

Greece is paying the severe consequences of forcing Spanoulis out of the national team to appease Panathinaikos' owner and its fans. Huge mistake. Mantazris, Calathes, Sloukas, Pappas combined together are not half as good as Spanoulis.

So many comments here from Greeks about how Sloukas could take Spanoulis' role and lead the national team...........yeah sure.

We have seen Calathes, Sloukas, and Pappas each trying to be Spanoulis, and it's an absolute comedy.

So what was Giannis' excuse in 2016 against Croatia without Spanoulis? Or in 2014 also without Spanoulis against Serbia?

So according to you,

2013 Greece under-20 national team fails to get a medal with Giannis on it. No Spanoulis in the team. You say it is "Spanoulis' fault."

2014 Greece senior national team fails to get a medal with Giannis on it. No Spanoulis in the team. You say it is "Spanoulis' fault."

2016 Greece senior national team fails to qualify to the Olympics with Giannis on it. No Spanoulis in the team. You say it is "Spanoulis' fault."

It will be 10 years from now, and you will be claiming every loss of Giannis was "Spanoulis' fault". Newsflash, that made up excuse was never valid, and it's a complete joke now that Spanoulis is retired from the team. You really, really, need to get some new gimmick material and learn a new posting shtick.

5 summers since Giannis joined Greece national team and ZERO MEDALS. Yeah, he is sure making himself a real national team career so far. Maybe even one day he can match the medal total won with the national team of Giannis Kalampokis.

Yeah I think Spanoulis went like 4/14 that game against Spain, was annoying watching him freeze out Giannis. His defense was trash too.
