Don't worry, I hear he's working out with OK4 this summer to learn D.

You hadn't seen that quote before?

That quote may be old news, but it's new news to me. I'm still laughing.

I think he said it on draft night. I thought it was fake it first. Its just amazing to me that kid would have zero interest in learning how to play defense knowing that they're going to the pros. Then again, you are a lot of pros who get by surely on offense and don't give her rats ass about what happens on the defensive end of the floor.

He's in need of some of Dr. Bronner's Super Grow-up pills, fast. Or his career will not be what he wants it to be.

I really don't understand how a young kid saying I want to learn how to play defense is some sort of negative to prop up Frank. Leave DSJ alone. We all look petty as fuq.

When Woodson took over for us, Amare said nobody had ever taught him defense before.

"Just having a defensive coach for the first time in my career is going to help," Stoudemire said. "I've never been taught defense in my whole career. To now have a coach that actually teaches defense and teaches strategies and knows positioning and posture and how to guard different plays is going to be helpful. I'm going to take it as a challenge, accept the challenge and try to improve as a player."

It was his 11th season

only time will tell who was the right pick, the knicks FO deserves some slack given them hitting on international prospects recently. So no need to get on one to disparage the other. Tthe hype on dsj is also warranted given his leap and his great summer league performances.

You can tell by the way the nose, chin, and mouth line up that Frank's is a couple inches shorter. Judge might be wearing cleats, so who knows.

Let it be known, that from now on, DSJr will forever after be referred to as B.o.B.

Judge is 6'7". I was hoping for some legit 6'6" for Frank. He's probably 6'5.5", which is fine.

It has nothing to do with Frank. It was evidence to support not drafting him. Frank's defense doesn't need propping up. DSJr apparently never cared enough about that end of the floor to want to improve his.

If we had picked him and he said the same thing, most of the folks using that statement against him would be saying "look at how much this kid wants to get better. We found our PG of the future".

Why can't both be good picks?? Before the draft, I was hoping there was a way we could of possibly paired these guys together. Both are guys I'd love to have on this squad with KP & WHG.
