So the big concern, which I'm not sure if its been reported or not yet, is that Jano is oft injured lately and PUPing him or IRing him would be costly and distracting.

We'll know for sure by 1PM PST today, when his deal becomes guaranteed. I'm hearing we're ready to sign Lambo and move forward.. this is from a guy who I trust implicitly with the Raiders. My guess is that ultimately Jano switches some of his gtd salary to incentives and all is well for this year.

Because there's no chance in hell he gets 4.4m from anyone right now. In fact, I'd be surprised if he got half of that in the open market right now.

I have to agree with you here. 4.4 millions is a bit much for a 39 year old kicker.
