I understood the need to counter someone like boomer with an extreme personality like Carton but I don't know how anyone listened to that show for a long period. Carton just wears on you. Also they did have a way of kind of easing into that suburban right wing white male POV that's just not something I'm into at all. So no I wasn't a big fan.

One thing though Boomer and him supposedly were close and took part in stuff off the radio or was that just an act? Boomer didn't know Carton had an addiction and his life was a mess? Seems off to me.

It'll be interesting to see what clown wfan recruits now or if they try to duplicate mike and Mike with a safe sports journalist.

Started watching this show in 2010 when it was on MSG. Kind of surreal this happened though.

That is there core audience. Craig spoke the view point of white suburbanites after a few beers and a little PCP

They did charity events, softball games, and the Boomer and Carton kitchen at Citi Field together. Otherwise Boomer openly says he stays out of Craig's business ventures - his outside success compared to Craig's lack thereof was a running bit on the show. Carton is all over the place and talked a big game. His gambling addiction seemed hidden behind a number of other things, but yeah it is wild to fathom. Just another notch in Christie's belt of grime they are such great friends lol

He got snitched on by a partner that got caught. Dudes definitely a scum bag. But there's very few things lower than a snitch. Those conspiracy charges are impossible to beat. All they need is statements from co conspirators to prove someone conspired to be a part of an on going criminal ring. I know dudes who got caught with nothing doing mandatory 10. Because people who did get caught said so. There's 3 choices. 1, give a statement in exchange for 5 fed time. Or sometimes they'll even avoid fed charges all together and hand it to the state. 2, cop a guilty plea and get 10. Or 3, take it to trial. Say they're all lying. Get convicted and do 20 to life. That's how they clean up the streets.
