Fantasy Leagues Discussion - Currently Dynasty Future Drafts

Well last time I had to recruit like 5 people to fill up the CBA. And we've had like 5-7 Suns posters who played last year that are not going to play this year. So we will need to hope like 10 or 11 random new Suns fans who are not regular posters decide to sign up. I'm not really up to recruiting a bunch of random others to fill up a third league. Right now we have 28 confirmed (between Premier, D, and CBA), and I think 4 of those are not even Suns posters.

Ok. All that just to say you are lazy to recruit

It does get tiring. Especially since I am recruiting people to sign up for an NFL pick competition for the forums and for a fantasy football league.

That largely depends on whether or not jdiddy is involved.

Oh yeah, in live drafts I do I usually do them a few days before the season starts to avoid any preseason injuries and stuff. I just know people are usually eager to start. Last year each league thread was started on about Sept 3rd/4th with the draft not long after. But I guess it really didn't get going until mid September.

I am just not sure if we will fill up 3 of them this time. Last year we had some long time drop outs like DRK and nevetsov and this year quite a few more like Calvin Klein, sunskerr, Superhuman, MrMiyagi, NTB and a couple others.

With all those drop outs, plus trying to find randoms from other forums to fill half of CBA this year I think we will probably be good just to roll with 2, though the D league might be pretty big.

I guess we'll see though. Since we already have some non Suns fans I could see if others on the forums are interested. There are some smaller forums where there are likely not enough posters to create leagues.

But at the same time it's also good to limit it as much as possible to mostly Suns fans.

Prem went from 16th Sep -> 6th Oct.

So roughly 3 weeks. As long as we have teams finalised by Sep 20ish and at the latest first pick by Sep 24ish and we'll get there fairly comfortably.

But yeah, ideally all the leagues are sorted by next week.

I'll be organizing the draft thread for the G-League as well, keeping the initial post with draft picks made and each player's filled spots, as well as sending notifications when you are up for your pick, and defining draft order on some random online generator.

Don't worry, I'll be audited by the same guys who do this for the NBA lottery...

10 of 13 spots filled. lindan's in? Profile page says last logged into the forums in 2016. (edit- nevermind, didn't see M4E's post) That makes 11. Then 2 more from CBA.

Well, if I send extra 2 invites to 10th and 11th places in CBA, it pretty much means there wont be enough players to fill that league, making the players who dropped from D-League leagueless.

We either find more players to create a CBA or we expand the G-League and/or restrict players to being Suns fans or smt of sorts.

(Which is exactly what BW said weeks ago...despite now it is becoming necessary)

Yeah, and i dont really want to touch the Premier League. Its 13 players, always has been. Its the Original League. To change it now to help out another league isnt the smartest thing for us. We strive for perfection, and taking on another "Normie" or two that didnt EARN the chance to participate in our great league would make us no better than the G-League. I also hate that when one of my main players goes down, it pretty much means that you are screwed, as if you look to make up that production getting a new player, all your looking at is 15 minutes-a-game roleplayers and others who have no business being on a fantasy team. Adding one or two more teams to the league would kill us.

So the Premier league is set as it is.
