You have all the momentum it feels like.

No. Typical Chargers game.
I am a silver linings guy though and I think and hope the 4th qtr and close score gives them more confidence than otherwise..and also makes Lynn realizes that when you have Rivers, you don't need to try and be a power running team if you don't have to.

Not totally on topic, but sort of, but anyone else like Rex Ryan and Beth Mowins doing this? I thought they were pretty good.

I think you'll be pretty alone on this. Everyone else on reddit and twitter etc have been dreading this combo all night long.

Hm, surprised a bit. I'd rather them than Gruden. Tirico's the best but Gruden kills it. Maybe bc I was working out so partially distracted.

Re: Week 1 Matchups and Games Discussion
Oh, damn, I never watch postgame stuff but they both say they had the sound and didn't think Denver got the time out in before the kick and talked about how the fact Koo ending up missing his first FG, which was important, might impact his psyche, even though it was blocked.
Having a nervous big game kicker worries me after watching Nate Kaeding cost the Chargers 3 big playoff games.

I had audio off most of the time, but when I had it on I kind of liked Rex Ryan, because I like hearing coaches talk about things more than non football people typically but he was trying a bit too hard.
I didn't hear too much of Beth that was memorable other than pointing out obvious stuff, and some unnecessary stuff, like, after the final fga was missed, "there is still one second on the clock". There is zero reason anyone should be an NFL announcer in any shape or form if they think that statement is worth saying. But being a first time announcer, probably being nervous, I'll give her a pass for that.

They were okay. Wasn't that impressed to be honest. The game was pretty boring until the Chargers comeback.

Beth is fine. Have heard her a decent amount as she does a lot of college games. Rex was awful. He barely added anything the whole night and he doesn't have a good voice for announcing.
