Marco is having a strong summer; this should bode well for the journeyman swing player in a contract year. He should put up some solid production in Bud's system.

How can you say any of those names without incorporating a sexy accent? It's not possible.

Belli=KK2.0 ? Think back to Buds first season here. I think Al went down after 11 games or something.

Teague = Dennis - maybe edge to dennis
Marco = Kyle ? = we will see
Prince = Demarre? Seems far fetched but Demarre wasn't a proven nba player then either
Ersan - Sap clearly a drop off here without Sap
Dedmon = Antic - Dedmon maybe better actually.

1. Those are (mostly) apt comparisons.
Spoiler:
Despite the obvious differences in positions, I think Ilyasova compares more aptly to Antic. And Dedmon's effect (particularly on defense/rebounding) is reminiscent of Millsap.

Also, they are both under drafted, underutilized, blue collar vets.

2. Hawks went 22-31 after Horford went down--works out to about 34 victories over the course of an entire season. That was with Millsap having an All Star season. That was with the team catching fire at the season's end and over-achieving to procure the final playoff spot.

That should really sound some alarms as far as what to expect this season.

NOTE: Dedmon is absolutely better than Antic.

Let's look more closely at the record after Al went down (22-31). Al played 29 games that season. The next 17 games without Al the Hawks went 9-8. Then the injury bug hit. For a stretch of games Pero was out, so Gustavo Ayon started, then he was lost for the rest of the season. Old man Elton Brand was playing 35+ minutes a night for a few games, Mike Scott started a few games. Things got so bad with the big man rotation that they brought back a rookie Mike Muscala from overseas. So even with Millsap's 'Allstar' season, the rash of injuries in that stretch caused a long losing streak. The Hawks went 1-15 over that period. I think we win a few more games in that stretch if that didn't happen. After Pero came back, Hawks finished the season 12-9.
If not for the injury stretch, Hawks could have easily had an over .500 record without Al to finish the season.

47 and 14 between the Gasol brothers proved to be too much. Dennis had 27,8,4. LETS GO ITALY!!!

Dennis should be brimming with confidence going into the season after the eurobasket he just had

His head literally might not fit into the locker room.

How do you say, "King Kong ain't got nothing on me", in German?

Or is this too old of a reference?

We are gonna be really fun to watch. Running with young guys and shooting threes like crazy. Without our anchor Sap, there will be less post ups and no Dwight to clog the flow. Looking forward to it.

Hey ya'll, Bucks fan here. Just wondering if you expect Bazemore or Belinelli to have a better year and whether one guy clearly stands out over the other. They seem pretty evenly matched. Is Bazemore still injured?

Baze is healthy. And yes, we expect both Marco and Kent to be more productive and more efficient in this year's version of the offense.

Both could even be featured specifically to rehab their respective trade value.

Whattup emart. @jamaaaaaaaliver summed it up nicely. To me, Bazemore is more capable of putting it on the floor and is a better defender. Bellinelli is a superior shooter though so they're really different players. I expect Bazemore to have a more prominent role and, yes, he's healthy.

Curious why you ask though? Y'all thinking of swapping out Parker for some win-now pieces? I'm sure our FO could be persuaded to take his oft-injured tail if you throw in some sweetener. There's this one dude on your roster. What's his name? Gian .. Gianni ... ah, what's his name? I'm sure we'd take him if we have to.
