Not so fast, folks burying Craig Carton — the arrested sportstalk radio host is himself “a victim” of this whole Ponzi scheme thing, attorney Robert C. Gottlieb said on Friday.

“The government’s allegations against Craig Carton demonstrate a gross misunderstanding of what happened,” the lawyer started his statement to the media. “Craig is a victim who was deceived, manipulated and used by individuals seeking to gather assets for their own fraudulent schemes.”

What Kap has done to make himself a tough sell on ownership isn't even about race. It isn't about the anthem. It seems to be about his behaviors outside of that which include being just fine with his GF playing with photoshop, encouraging people NOT TO VOTE, and wearing fidel castro clothing.

He can't control what other people do.
Where and when did he encourage people not to vote? I would love to see that. I know he didn't vote(I don't agree with that at all).

He stated he didn't vote and stated that there are other ways to bring about change. While it's not direct, it fits the passive aggressive MO.

He just does not strike me as a sincere person.

Of course they don't. Him standing up for civil rights costing him a job is noted though.

It is not his job to stand up for civil rights. I am not saying it is a bad thing that he is but when you bring your private agenda into the workplace your employer does not have to freely endorse it. If he wants to blame anyone it is the media that hyped it up to the point of distraction.

Many athletes use their platforms to send a message. To actually bring attention to something that concerns them. Kap did so. Saying it's not his place to me as a woman of color is a slap in the face directly. I truly hope you hold the same stance on ANY athlete on ANY issue. Tell them all to shut up and play.

It looks like a few more players are stepping up thanks to the draft dodging dotard.
