I like the three C's better than Porter

It's going to be hard to get a top 5 pick if that's the goal.

Magic and Pacers should be added to the mix

All those besides Sac are in the East. They will beat up on each other and get some wins.

I'm warming to Michael Porter as he looks like PF version of Devin Booker.

But is that a problem?

I love Devin Booker, but I don't want a Devin Booker at every position on the floor.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Good espn article on Doncic...a lot more to it than what I quoted here...

The photo featured Dragic, then a youthful 21-year-old point guard prospect, and nine of his Union Olimpija teammates, hoisting the 2008 Slovenian League championship trophy. At the center of the photo was Sasa Doncic, a 34-year-old veteran forward gripping the stem of the cup as his teammates celebrated around him, confetti flying through the air. In the foreground of the photo stood Sasa's nine-year-old son in a green Olimpija jersey, gold medal around his neck, beaming with joy. Surrounded by his local heroes in Ljubljana, Slovenia, a small nation of only 2 million, the young ball boy was captured in a moment of bliss. His name: Luka Doncic.

.....

"I don't want to give him a big head, but I think he's probably one of the best talents that I've ever seen, especially at his age," Randolph said. "It's unbelievable. Just for his size, the way that he handles the game, the way that he carries himself on and off the court. He's just so versatile. I mean, the kid can damn near average a triple double when he figures it out." Doncic's production given his age is unprecedented. Playing half the season as a 17-year-old, he was the only player in the Euroleague last season to average at least 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists per 40 minutes. Although he struggled in the Euroleague final four, Doncic carried a strong season into Eurobasket play, producing like a 10-year veteran for a Slovenian team that shocked all of Europe on its way to a gold medal win over Serbia.

......

"I've seen a lot of players, they get hyped and then they kind of lose control," said Dragic, who is mentoring the 18-year-old like Steve Nash mentored him 10 years ago in Phoenix. "It gets in their heads. In a few years you don't even hear from them anymore. I don't think that's going to happen with Luka.

This is a monster top 5. I think Bamaba is my favorite of the bunch.

Right now, for me i got it Porter and Doncic tied and then Bamba a far second. Sexton will be fun to watch just not on the Suns...screw everybody else...

I am a big Doncic fan and you can make a case for any of the 5, but Bagley and his az roots are the best fit, imo. Btw, I really like Sexton outside the top 5 somewhere.

I think it's too early to make any definitive judgements about anyone who hasn't played college ball. So it's hard to put anyone up top. I think it's pretty clear Doncic is the real deal since he's proven it against pros. Now lets see what the other kids can do in college, even though it's mostly lesser competition except perhaps some of the conference play or play against elite teams.

I thought DX was closed.

I think Porter, Bagley, Doncic are safe bets to remain in the top tier as they have elite skills already.

Ayton and Bamba are the wildcards in whether they turn into Towns/Davis or Labissiere/Sullinger.

I like kenny's take on having a 1-2-3 of Doncic/Booker/Jackson with Warren there too. Then if Chriss and Bender pan out, that is a super versatile lineup.

I am not sure of Doncic's 3 pt ability but we desperately need that, but his overall game, passing, everything is nice. Jackson could always guard the PG if need be.

Not that we will have a chance at that top 3 unless we luck out. I think we will get a high pick, but likely not quite that high...but perhaps. True centers are a dying breed, but if we can get an elite one who blocks shots, can hit free throws and is a rebounding monster we could use that too even though I like Williams a lot.

Still think we'd need a PG in that lineup as even LeBron, Simmons, Giannis get to defend more like for like on defense.

It would be a weird but intriguing lineup. They would probably have booker gaurd 1s. He would suck at it but unless he improves hes not good at guarding any position so if you have to stick him somewhere pg is arguably the least important defensive position.

Doncic does much well. But his athleticism and defense will be a problem in the NBA.

Porter is our Man, he can shoot and we need other player who can shoot, if we pick him Jackson can play like a pf. Bagley Is other option but it same problem with the shoot. With doncic the problem is his defense, he would play like a sf but is body are no prepare for this.
